 The YOOcarousel is a very flexible module for Joomla. It shows a category of articles, creates a slide or fade transition when cycling the articles. Using the tabs you can navigate through all articles. All articles can display any kind of HTML formatted content like text/images/flash and you can even use the "loadposition" plugin to display a another module inside a article. The YOOcarousel module comes with a lot of different styles. All styles are working out of the box and can be use with YOOtheme templates or any other template.

 I wrote this component to give users a little more control over their content from the frontend. Authors can now see all their content in one list, which means they can edit unpublished items from the front end. If they have access to publish items, they publish content with one click from the mycontent list. It also allows users to create a content item for any section, instead of having to have multiple links from the usermenu.
