The MooTools library loads by default in Joomla! 1.5. This can viewed as too excessive at 180kb, especially when it may not be needed for some of the pages, or in some cases not needed for the site as a whole. I use it on my website, www.bandthreadz.com, to display the skyscraper ads and am currently modifying it to display the new link to the Radio BandThreadz podcasts located here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RadioBandthreadz. My thanks to the many article writers out there who have provided tutorials on what's needed in simple modules.
