 mostlatex is a content filtering mambot for Joomla! which converts tagged LaTeX equations into PNG files on the fly. The images are then displayed inline in place of the original formula.
Note that to use moslatex you will require working latex, dvips and convert binaries, further information is available from the project homepage.
Please be aware that I do not believe this content filter will work in Joomla 1.5 legacy mode:
