This component will read the XBEL XML file uploaded from the FTP/HTTP/HTTPS Bookmarks Synchronizer Extension for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/quicksearch.php?q=Bookmarks+Synchronizer§ion=A&application=firefox) and display it as a neat listed component in Joomla!. You need 2 files for download: - bookmarksync-102-FF1501.xpi (Firefox extension) - com_ab_links.zip (Joomla! component) Zharvek, the developer of XBEL, put the core of this component together with examples from around the Internet. "I'm not the best with XML stuff. It might be messy, but it does work." Once installed, have it upload the file to your server, login to the admin face of Joomla, choose AB: Links from the component list and fill in the path to the XBEL file. Coloring should be done by your theme. You can download the Firefox extension from the developer's online repository of Firefox extensions: http://btcorp.dyndns.org/Tools/FireFoxExtensions/FF_1.5_extensions/ Updated: Cleaner, and faster code. Now from the administration panel, you can block up to five bookmark folders from being shown to the public.
