What did we ever do? by pastor_rob, March 15, 2006
I wonder how we survived before cell phones?

That is what I am asking before Joomlaxplorer ... it is NOT a must have ... it is a ... "how can we exist without it"? Excellent tool ... it has saved me many a headache ... on many a day!

An absolute must-have by Faeton, March 15, 2006
This is a great tool for the management of your site! No more downloading and uploading to the server through FTP, but edit iin your webform and save it. Done!

In one word: really fabulous. Oops, two words then.

Superb Component by joomlamahesh, March 14, 2006
I found this as very versatile component for a joomla site. Easy to install and use. It opens the whole directy with files for you to manipulate.
Nice Job, Keep it up.

Oh my! by AmyStephen, March 9, 2006
How have I lived without joomlaXplorer? How did I not hear of this? Well, perhaps because we didn't have this NIFTY Extensions Directory!

Very, very nice Sören. THANKS!

The component with cap C by ivo.apostolov, March 7, 2006
Soeren is probably one of the greatest contributors to the community.

But JoomlaXplorer is not his most famous, but most practic component ever

One of the first things I install...every time! by gsbe, March 6, 2006
Can't live without this one. Solves SO many problems effortlessly.

A must have! by manuman, March 6, 2006
Once you have your Joomla! site running, the first thing I suggest you do is install this one.

You won't use it every day but when you need it you'll understand why you installed it(or wished you had).

It's simply a must have!

Cant rate this component highly enought!!! by prazgod, March 6, 2006
Cant rate this component highly enought!!!

Agree with the others... by rconnelly, March 6, 2006
...this is a must have. It is the first thing I install when setting up a new Joomla site. It makes file management easy, and allows you to do it all through the Joomla backend. It is a 'must-have.'

Has saved the day multiple times, interface needs a little work. by TheSaint, March 5, 2006
joomlaXplorer is an extremely handy tool if you don't have access to ftp or a file manager like cpanel. Once I accidentally deleted a template file but couldn't remove the directory because it was assigned to "nobody".

I couldn't remove the folder via ftp or cpanel file manager, but joomlaxplorer came to the rescue and was able to delete it anyways.

My only criticism is regarding the interface. The icons for managing files and directories are without any text unless you roll your mouse over the actual link. You have to guess a bit until you learn which icons do what.

An option to show or hide text/icons would be very handy. None the less, this small complaint does not outweigh the handiness of this extension's great built-in browser. 4 out of 5 stars.

A must have by rmuilwijk, February 21, 2006
JoomlaXplorer is a must have tool in your Joomla! backend. It has been of great help for me several times.
