It can be subscriptions for:

* a single site
* multiple sites
* one secure folder at the site where the component is installed(secure URL containing files)

Among the features are:

• Ability to subscribe to the parent (installation) site - sell access to your site
• Admin specifies how many sites the user can select for the subscriptions at once (1 or multiply)
• Ability to specify the group to register the user in.
• Ability to change the group of the user when the subscription expires.
• Ability to specify whether to register the user or to change his group on subscription
• Ability to select whether to delete or block or leave the user on the site when the subscription expires.
• Admin can see all the users and their subscriptions information.
• The module provides a link to the user’s subscription profile where he can see all his subscriptions and their status.
• Admin can edit the passwords of the directory access users (new passwords are automatically emailed to the user).
• Subscription DELUXE OWN registration. It gives more convenient way to subscribe to main site.

Imagine your subscription is ended? What do you do as you can't enter the site? Well, just LOG in to the Subscription DELUXE and PROLONG IT!

• Built-in Community Builder version 1.x support (meaning you can have CB installed or not)
• Allow ‘Duplicate’ function for the sites’ configurations .

I just wanted highlight the fact that this component doesn't handle recurring payments such as a monthly subscription, which is a shame and much needed feature.

I have to say that after reading the reviews for this product I was really excited to purchase this product. I am sorry to report that I was more than a little disappointed with my final purchase. I bought the more expensive "Deluxe" version thinking that with all the bells and whistles that were boasted about on this product review site that all my expectations would be met. They however were not.

The documentation was more than lacking, and the small amount of documentation that was provided obviously was written by an individual(s) were English obviously was NOT their primary language. It was very hard to understand. Therefore, I ended up spending as much time trying to pseudo translate the Help and FAQ files as I was trying to get get the app to do what I thought it should have been capible of doing out of the box.

In the end... This product is NOT commercial grade, and ultimately I found more power and performance in other freely downloadable products. I have since stopped using this component (and sucked up the wasted $99). I am now using the AEC (freely downloadable) component instead. Although it doesn't quite do everything that I need either... it is further along and more powerful than Subscriptions Deluxe.

Lastly... I don't know who is making the reviews to site... but if it is friends/family of the developer looking to make a sale... then that is a shame... because the rest of the reviews about this component are what inspired me to purchase this product, and now just leave me scratching my head. Sorry.

I read the comments below and agree the Subscription component is very functional and exactly what I needed to manage our subscription based content. It is an advanced component offering lots of options, but none of which I could not work out or find in the extensive help or FAQ's - the more I read the more I learned how I could tweak it to meet our needs. I have bought several components from Elearning, and have found them all to have excellent support and help sections. All of them also exceeded my expectations for features and ease of use. When I was starting to use this subscription component, I found myself thinking I wish they had this feature, only to read further and find that it was already implemented. We have used numerous open source and commercial components for ourselves and our clients, and this one lives up to our expectations of value for money.
I would rate it 9.5/10 :)

This is an excellent work. The extension is really powerful and easy to extend. The customer service is always on time and helpful. If you are after a component to manage your paid content, I definitely recommend this SubscriptionDELUXE.

Why i am writing this, because I as many who are reading my post NOW, do like: buy, any problems, then immediately write or even call to support. I want to tell that it is NO GOOD!!! and i understood this only some time ago

Deluxe is a feature rich component and it can't be understanded in ONE hour -please NOTE possible future customer.

So before writing any bad words or going to support, PLEASE read ALL materials about it - and you will know!

I had a client who refused to pay me until a subscription-based system was in place on their site (because I promised this to them in a contract at the beginning of the job)

For one whole year I did without getting paid. I had searched, tested and been repeatedly disappointed by subscription components for over a year. None of them worked. Check out my threads at Joomlapolis.com (user porkleton) - I certainly wasn't the only person having this problem.

Finally, I came across Subscription Deluxe - a commercial component that at first seemed a bit pricey. After a year of disappointment, I skeptically purchased the product as a last resort.

Like the reviewer below, I was at first discouraged by this component. The Help files were at first not the greatest thing and because the component was so feature-rich, I myself (a web developer) couldn't figure out how to get it working. I too have done dozens of Joomla sites for organizations large and small.

After I placed a disgruntled email to their support site, I received a reply in less than 4 hours with detailed instructions on what I wanted to do. I was now in business.

The most amazing part of this story was not just the fast and detailed customer service - it was the extent they went to put in a feature I required. Within 48 hours of my request, version 2.1 of this component was released and included my feature - along with some other updates they were working on included. Now that's classy.

Now I have a completely automated subscription system that is fully integrated into Community Builder. My client has paid me, and I look like a champion because I was able to deliver more than what I had promised - which saves them hours and hours of administrative work for their huge site.

You can check out their site to see the features - there's a helluva lot it can do. If you have any issues, I would say to contact their support forum thread.

If I could do it again, I WOULD NOT buy this component. It is buggy and a pain to figure out. I'm still trying to make this thing work correctly. I've installed dozens of other components, so it's not user related. The broken English of the help files don't help make things easier either.

What i can say! I was given an ugrade to Deluxe version for FREE!!! I save $30 - i like attitude of ElearningForce support! They do many pleasant things to satisfy customer.

Also in a new version all features that i dreamed were realized! WWohooo! Subscription to the main site, ability to register in the component: that gave me possiblity to block users on my site, but not in component - so users can prolong their subcription....

What i can say... Elearning force again made GREAT component!
