I also pay two support units for elearningforce but they can not solve bridge proplem, now I am looking some one convert my vbulletin forum to fireboard because no one can solve bridge issues :( .

Price is offputting by Gaz3447, November 16, 2007

On the website I look after, we have a decent community userbase. With the Adsense Ads and donation function, we have finally been able to afford a vBulletin licence. I was aware of this bridge and had planned on purchasing it due to it being the only vBulletin bridge available for Jommla.

After pricing a vBulletin licence (leased, at $85 for a year), I was dismayed to see that this bridge has a price of $70!

I cannot believe the creators expect you to pay almost the same price again for a bridge that you pay for the amount of work involved in getting hold of vBulletin!!

Lower the price, and you will have another customer.

Works Well by Killswitch, October 9, 2007

The extension works very well, it's only too bad that they continue to raise the price so drastically. I had a liscense about a year ago, bought it for about $40. Now it's up to $70. No wonder NULLifiers exist.

I was one of the first and now am completely satisfied! by vrwired, August 23, 2007

I needed to implement a cross based login for joomla and vbulletin last May, which is when I found eLearning Force's Duo-Syc bridge to achieve this. When I first installed it for my client, everything appeared to be working fine (after I made a couple custom hacks). However, after my client tested it for a while, he found a bug that I couldn't hack around. So I wrote support for advice, and they advised I upgrade to their new version.

The new version is complete in all aspects of what I had wished the bridge would do when I first bought it (but instead had to hack some workarounds - but now there's NO hacking needed - its an easy install and you're go). Definitely this product has evolved a long way from a strong beta last May, to a fully featured and operational component as of August, 2007. And the support was very helpful, with a 24 hour turn around each day that I wrote them this past week.

To reiterate my point, the new features that help control logins between joomla and vbulletin work flawlessly now, and this even includes the lost password feature. If a user forgets their password, they can request a new one from joomla interface, and the new password is automatically updated for the vbulletin forum.

The bottom line is that it solved my problem seamlessly. When a user logs in to the site (via joomla), they are automatically logged into vBulletin (as I specified to do in the bridge's configuration - lots of options there). Well done!

Good Job! by Miller, August 9, 2007

I have several products from ElearningForce and sometimes they really force you to make some NON critical changes in other products you use. In the case of this Bridge to solve the mentioned issues with Joomla login I've only changed registration vB. message ("registration_complete" phrase as I remember) and entered there a link to my Joomla site (that message allows you to use HTML tags in it). In English this phrase may look like "To complete the registration you should login here first. To change your User Details also please use this site.". Pretty easy I think. Sometimes I overwrite Joomla profiles with vBuletin's, just in case.
ElearningForce solved most of issues which existed in the previous versions I believe (I've bought this bridge not far ago) as I have this bridge working on my site and I hadn't to hack the bridge for that. Count me as a very satisfied customer.

Must Have For VB Users! by Tswaibel, September 10, 2006

If you're a Vbulletin user, this is a hands-down must have for Community Builder.

This easily synced over 350+ users into Community Builder at the click of a switch. Being it was new, I required a few support issues from the staff and they personally accessed my installation multiple times and corrected the problems seamlessly.

Without a doubt, would recommend and trust in their work. This is the one and only available 1 click addon to sync your users from VB to CB. Worth the small fee.
