HP ToDo list
This module is a ToDo list for the backend. It supports lists for all and for single users. You can set priority levels for the different entries and status indicators, all in different languages. Currently supported: german, english. Publish it to the cPanel position, set the parameter "Install the DB" to yes, load the backend homepage once and then set it back to no.

Updated to 1.1: Some improvements and now a superadmin can also see other users list entries

Love it!! by MrQ, May 24, 2008
Awesome backend notepad. Would be nice though if you could set a deadline time and possibly a way to visually check off whats gotten done and placed in an archive folder or something.

All in all a great tool for us admins...recommend it highly!!

perfect by lcphotostudio, March 1, 2008
just what i was looking for , a simple way to keep notes for what i need to do for clients sites.

Amazing little extension by DonnaM, January 20, 2008
This extension is extremely beneficial to any joomla site. It works well. If you're looking for something simple and easy to use, try the ToDo list. It keeps me focussed!

Nice --- by lazyman, September 1, 2007
Nice and Very useful component, but has one error which affect translations...
I'm fixed this by adding one line right before DEFINED at beggining of mod_todo.php file:

require ( $mosConfig_absolute_path.'/configuration.php' );

I't necessary for component of admin language is not english..

Thanks! by creed3, August 2, 2007
Simple but does the job! Simple is usually better anyway, less to go wrong or configure.

Could use some work by D1NG0, July 30, 2007
Works great.

Suggestions:
The "status" part would be better off as a % of completion. Its easily changed in the english.php file though.

WOuld be nice if things could be marked complete and added to a changelog.

Super! by islatur, May 8, 2007
This is a cool extension, lacks features, but does the trick. if you are looking for something simple better than notepad, this is for you

Simple, Effective by Gosling, March 9, 2007
I spend most of my time at the admin interface, so I love administrator modules even more than front end modules.
This one is small, but effective. A simple to do list where you can't lose it.
This has become a part of my standard Joomla! install.

Amazing component!!!!! by eddus, January 22, 2007

When you have lots a things to do, you wont lost any single detail... this component is just amazing!!!

just one constructive suggestion:
could be nice if it allow you to show wich things are being executed and who is executing it.
that could be useful for example if there is 20 things to do and 3 people, you can assign tasks or people could chose a task to develop, you can see what is doing each one, and how much work is totaly lefting, then you wont have 2 people doing the same thing, in order to have everything done.

very nice work guys! keep working :)

Good for staying organizaed by z0z0, January 19, 2007
Useful tool. Easy to set up

Great tool! by Scoop0901, December 12, 2006

Right now, in our test phase for Joomla, we have 12 people involved in working in the backend of the setup, but they are scattered around the U.S.

This ToDo mod has worked great, and since the SuperAdmins have access (and can assign) items for other users, it's even more helpful!

Hope this is in J! 1.5 Stable! by BYGino, November 30, 2006

I'm a complete newB with J! I'm working on my first site and I decided just to go for J!1.5 Beta as this will probably be stable by the time I finish anyway.

So, I've got a lot to do and I keep having brainwaves then forgetting them so I had a look through the extensions and came accross this little beauty! Downloaded and had a quick look at the code to see if it was going to be OK with 1.5 (had to change link to the language file but that's all)

What can I say... does exactly what it says on the tin! Nothing too fancy or overcomplicated does just what I need it to do.

Administrator Notepad! by slyreptile, October 30, 2006
This is a great component and makes assigning tasks among different administrators easy. Installation and publishing to the cpanel is easy. No more having to write things down on paper that need to be done. Now it's posted into the Administrator for all the admins to see. Thanks Hannes!

Been waiting for a decent To-Do list mod for ages! by Foxhill, September 11, 2006
Install is easy, display fits in nicely with the Admin Block in the backend as a new tab.
This is nice and simple to use, hopefully will have some way of sorting by priority and status in future releases.
Oh and hiding Completed items may be useful too.

Good Module by BertSP, September 10, 2006
This was a welcomed module. I am sure it will get better as time goes on. The author was very prompt with e-mail help and answers. Give it time, it will blossom...
