Cache accelerate component for Joomla, Mambo
Make your Joomla website 100 times or more faster. Increase now the performance of your website with the Joomla accelerate component. The Joomla performance accelerate component will boost the performance of your Joomla website. In stead of generating each time a page dynamicly and making a lot of SQL queries pages are read and published from the cache. Please notice that the component is not using the 'default' Joomla caching mechanism.
Update 30 june 2008:
The cache component also handles combining, compacting and compressing Javascript and CSS files.
The component is available for Joomla 1.0x, Mambo 4.6x and Joomla 1.5 releases

There really isnt too much I can say that hasnt already been mentioned. As far as any negative feedback or concerns, nothing at all. Like you, I've read all the reviews from the other contributing satisfied customers. I've thoroughly gone through JoomlaAtWork's forum topics about this component as well as any references on Joomla!. Cross checked compatability...etc. Ok I'm sold. This component's exactly what the site its intended for needed. Quick Install, quick config check, much quicker page loads! Yup...

This thing really works! I noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY after installation. There are a few minor bugs but nothing I couldn't work around. In the end I am very happy happy with this purchase and think its underrated for the immense impact it has on loading time. You won't regret purchasing this.

Now I was just surfin' the Joomla Extensions website right now when I found this component (along with JoomlAtWork's SEO Extended Patch, buy them together!). It does exactly what it says it does and at a great price too! The cache improved the generation times 60 fold immediately after I got the component working (great, quick support by Richard over at JoomlAtWork) and I'm sure with a bit more tweaking even that will improve.

At first saying that you can make Joomla 100 times faster sounded like a joke.

But since I have a couple live sites and speed is indeed their main issue I gave it a go. Facts:
1. This component works right out of the box. You can change a few parameters, but only if know what you are doing
2. pages really do get created on the server 100 times-or-so faster than before
3. The author is extremely responsive
4. All the updates he provided were spot on
5. Cookies (which were mentioned below) are already supported and again the first version worked right out of the box.

If you run a high traffic site this component is a must. If you're sceptical, wait for the demo at joomlatwork which will show you the difference.

If there was a vote for most useful 3PD component... This one really is special.

Impressive gain of speed, great support. The author is currently working on an issue with cookies and should soon release an updated version.

Fast in installing together with good support! Components and modules you do not want to cache you can exclude by excluding the url to that part. Works fine with JoomSEF. Works great with Joomla 1.011
