Delete my Account component - module included

This component allows to record logs about the users who deleted them selves.

After that you can restore (or completely delete) user’s information.

In addition the component automatically determines if Community Builder is installed. In this case the component also saves user’s information from Community Builder.

Configuration
In Configuration section You can choose whether to save information about the user who deleted his account or not.
‘Save User data to log’ option is available. If this option is set to ‘Yes’ then registration information of the deleted user will be saved to a specific log.

When necessary the information can be restored from the log.

If this option is set to ‘No’ then all information will be deleted without opportunity to restore.

Modules
A Delete Account module is installed in the process of component installation.

Delete account module allows user to delete his own account.

After installation you should publish Delete Account module and select menu items for which Delete Account module will be displayed (by default it’s assigned to all items).

Delete Account module is displayed only after user enters the system.

Menu
To allow user to delete his account you can create menu item also. You should create ‘URL-link’ item in Usermenu with the following URL: index.php?option=com_del_account
