A new version fixing the pagination errors in joomla 1.0 .12 + has just been released.

A simple module that will display data from any table within joomla. Added to version 2 is the ability to show / hide the sql query and Pagination. The demo page shows a simple form and the results displayed are from the form.

Documentation? by infocad, April 24, 2008
I know the developer is very specific about the fact that no support is provided; however, the Readme is sorely lacking in details, and I haven't yet been able to put it to any use.

We would very much appreciate it if the developer could put together a short howto, maybe only explaining how he set the demo up.

I found this while looking for a powerful SQL reporting tool. Although it does not compare to a full feature component, placed strategically and used creatively it has far more potential than first meets the eye. It is easy to install and use, has a clean UI, doesn't bog down the site and is easy to manage and set up. As a bonus, it can be copied for multiple reports on a page. My only suggestion is to provide a variable or keyword that can be used to identify the current user (to support user-specific reports). Thanks for a great tool!
