Content Protector
With this component you can protect your site content from unlegal copying. Content Protector shows Joomla standard content articles (news, newsfeeds etc.) with special java applet. So, the site visitors are able to read text but can't copy it with any way. Content Protector protects your content from copy-paste and view source methods of scrapping. Also, your site content will be protected from different automatical web scrappers.

Changes in version 1.1:
Full integration in standart Joomla content component.
Capthca image for human validation to show original HTML.

Installs fast by sybil, January 21, 2008
This piece of software installs in a second and works, but I did not like the looks for the frontend. Therefore, I wont use it.

I can't use the component because once published in joomla!, my IE won't let me install the activeX applet. And I don't find a way to get a valid licence for the publishing of the content. is there any other alternative ?

Wow! Nice, simple, functional.
Installs easily with no problems. (Don't change the file name when you first download and save it.)
Simple to use with great functionality. It auto-detected all of my content and listed it in the admin panel. These are the columns:

In the admin panel you can protect/unprotect items with a single click.
