| Very easy installation and use by Ludus, April 23, 2008 |

I tried before this add some "higher rated" add with same role but my Joomla! 1.* hangs up and Apache also refuse to work normally, so I decide to check this one tool for comments... installation was fast, easy and no crash at all! Configuration is easy through few menus. This add has ability to discover active language and to pick proper language from language folder, there are dozen of them, and if you wish you could very easy and fast to get your own translation in just a 20 minutes! I like this and recommend it to all members which don't need too much decorative comments.

| Great product! by Hickchick, February 19, 2008 |

I installed Akocomment on my website. First I had Joomla!comment, but there I was suffering tons of problems adjusting the width. Akocomment was adjusting greatly, right from the start! Some templates are not working properly on my website, but the others do. It looks great, it works great, installation was really simple.
And when I had a problem (which I caused myself {shame}) and sent an e-mail to the developer, he responded to my e-mail within twenty minutes!!!
I must confess I have not checked for the W3C compliancy, yet. Maybe you'll find another comment from me next week...

| some documentation? by the2003s, January 20, 2008 |

The extension seems great, and I installed it very easy. But I cannot actually use it. I only want to use comments on content items from an article and I've set akocomment to use individual botcommand. However I haven't seen "add a comment" in the content items I added {moscomment} in...
Some documentation would be nice..

| Validation Problem, Other issues, but nice look by doc1355, November 25, 2007 |
|
This comment engine, has a nice look. But the functionality is not as good as it should be. I installed it this morning and I found out that it has over 80 validation errors (I mean W3 HTML validation) it took me over 6 hours to take care of the validation problem and finally all my pages are valid. However, I found out that it has another big problem. The comment form has the option to put you title in. You can als enable/disable this option in the admin area. No matter what you do, even if you disable the title from the admin area and it deos not appear in the comment form, it will still show the previuos persons' title in your title area, if you leave your title blank or I disable the title in the admin. More frustration starts when you go to their website for support and they have locked the forum for this extension and you can't post your question. So, if you get this extension, you need to fix it yourself. I don't see any support in this part. Also remember to that you need to spent several hours to take care of validation errors. All most all html tags were misplaced and you can see many nesting errors in the validation report.

| Great Comment by skaitjindi, November 11, 2007 |

It also integrate with CB well. All you really need is the bot_ and com_. Install the bot first, publish it. Install com configure to your like. Tell CB to use akocomment and decide what you need to be commented on, blog, newsflash, articles. Smooth templates...play with the different templates.

| Simply great! by Orchid85, September 25, 2007 |
|
Just tested this with a template I'm working on. Really impressive the way it fit on the site, and it works fine for me!
Maybe a next add could be the option to make a certain field set to 'optional' or 'required' (e.g. title or e-mail).
Great extensions anyway!!!

| Best, but should be better by rpatrayudha, September 18, 2007 |

Overall it's a great comment extension, install great, works great, good looking, and so on, but i cannot deal with spam in this commenting system... this is the best commenting system but it should be better in handling the spam....

| Sweetness - Works with SerrBizSEF by serr.biz, September 17, 2007 |
|
We installed this component which was a snap and very, very easy. We found the FIELDSET template worked the easiest with our design. We did run into some snags with permissions for changing the language file, but that was our server problem, NOT the component. Additionally, the asic commenting function and RSS comments works nicely with our seo component SerrBizSEF. The other functions (quote - report) default to the Joomla SEF, which we tested and found no duplicate content problems with. We'll be creating custom SEF rule soon. Thanks for the great component!

| captcha hacked by tvds, August 6, 2007 |

I really really liked this component.
Simple to install, easy to use....and good captcha.
But.... the casino and p0rn sites now know how to capture the captcha... and I get such as 10 messages a day from commercial p0rn sites on my site.
So... component is great but needs an adjustment on the captcha part

Nice product, works great, but is not compatible with Mosets Tree which is a must-have on my website. Talked with both developers and they indicated the same.

| Great Comment System by kingsnowboarder07, May 12, 2007 |
|
Despite the fact it is advertised as html compliant, I warn you "fanatics" that is generates about 40 errors with the no graphics template and about 70-80 for the other ones, more if you enable users to use bbcodes.
Despite this, it is an excellent comment system. I tried J!Reactions and I must say that I like it more. The captcha works nicely and there are no errors or problems at all. it even adds NOSPAM! to the end of each email address displayed!
It is good if you can get around the validation errors it generates!!! Get it now :)
