Works fine! by mirkhwand, August 24, 2007
Thank you so much for this module. It works great! Actually resolves an annoying problem with a website client.

Problems with SquirrelMail by efrancesco, August 23, 2007
Does not work with SquirrelMail whatsoever. Here are the big questions:
[-] SquirrelMail login.php is located in /src folder. Extension does not support that.
[-] Once you POST the 'username' and 'password', it then has to be redirected to redirected.php, inorder to reach webmail.php, I have read the code and there is no method defined in the module to look after that behaviour.
[-] SquirrelMail uses session management and inorder to successfully login you'll have to get the cookies directly from SquirrelMail.

Overall, as mentioned by the author, its a SIMPLE module.

Works Well by Seajaee, August 14, 2007
This is an excellent component. It allows you to assign an 'user@yourdomain.com' email address to users and have them sign on in Joomla via RoundCube Webmail. It is only email at this point however, and does not include a calendar or tasks, etc.

Excellent for organizations who need members to have email with the site's domain.

Best bang for the "buck" (time/energy, that is) by ericdeaver, June 1, 2007
I use many, many extensions--Components, Modules and Bots-- and I honestly can say I think this is my favorite addition, ever.

In terms of the benefit for time/energy spent implementing this module, it is BY FAR, hands down, the best return on investment: upload takes about 1.3837 secs, interface is placed appropriately, no "tweaking" files, extensions or permissions, and all you have to do is type in your email address, and the appropriate password and you are in your control panel email on the backend of your site, without having to open new windows, go through the Cpanel mumbo jumbo... etc.

Writing this note of THANKS!~ Took me 15x longer than it did to set this up... lol....

Love it! AWESOME!! Thanks again!

Great component by VXD, May 16, 2007
Good component, it however would need to be able to handle more than one domain for my requirements, i will definately keep an eye on it should that feature be included, currently i have 20 odd different email domains that i run.

Potent Program! by jcharles, March 18, 2007
Daniel Corrêa,

I echo the other reviewers when I say thanks for putting this out!

Would love to know what improvements you plan for the next release.

It would be a tremendous help to be able to create an account automatically when members register with my site.

Please keep up the good work!

GREAT! by kenlyle, February 24, 2007
Trivially simple to install. Just plain works.

Notes: Domain is the fully qualified, http://sitename.com.
And, if your install is in a subdirectory, you need to fill in the domain.

Can this be extended to start a CRM system within Joomla? Same basic question as the reviewer above.

Thanks,
Ken

Great Mod by mzgrafx, February 20, 2007
Great mod for accessing the CPanel Mail. As previously mentioned, it would be great if there was a way to auto create the accounts in cpanel from joomla. I modified this mod so that you can give it a module class.

Add the following to the mod_cpanel_mail.xml

after :

and add the following to the mod_cpanel_mail.php
after line 14 $o = $params->get( 'orientation', ''); // orientation vertical or horizontal:

$moduleclass_sfx = $params->get('moduleclass_sfx');

for horizontal then change the following:
echo "";

to:
echo "";

for vertical then change the following:
echo "";

to:
echo "";

Just as Described by reyna24, December 21, 2006
Just as Described... I have been looking for something like this for a longtime...

now i need to find a way that when they register to my site an email automatically gets created with their username.

How can i add the domain to the field box? So that the user just has to put in their username.

thanks

Sweeeet! by jessemorris, December 20, 2006

FINALLY! by grafikal, December 15, 2006
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:
I thought something like this would never come out.
Works without configuration. Install, Publish, and check yo mail.

Could this be integrated into CB? Or have the email page wrapped within the website? If not, then have an option to pop out into a new window.

Great Job.

Owner's reply:
Hi grafikal,

thank you for the commentaries.

I never used the CB, therefore it would not know as to integrate the CPanel Mail.

The option to open the email in a new window already is written down for the next version.
