mtwDownload is a very simple download component that allows to list a specific directory for downloading. It have a log system with GeoIP support. Bots detection (Google, MSN, Yahoo). Multilanguage Support. Version 0.0.9 ==> Changelog: Translation in admin. Chinese Traditional and Simplified translation added (thanks baijianpeng from joomlagate.com)

I can't change the language by baijianpeng, May 16, 2007
This is a good idea to offer simple download area for small website with a minor need for downloading. This component can do it but I found some bug when test it today.

First, it can't work with my local testing server since the path will look like c:\wwwroot\download instead of http:\\some.thing.com\download .

Second, I translated the language file and put it into the proper folder, but I can't see Chinese language on the list at the backend of this component.

PS: The author also did not include those backend strings in the language file, so it is very hard to completely localize it.

Anyway, thanks for such a good idea. I like the GeoIP feature too. Hope you can go on with this project.
