Great in IE by lnorman, December 9, 2007
I'm using Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode. I had to edit the location of the snow.gif, but then it worked awesome in IE and a Firefox IE tab, but not in Firefox! I also put it in a user4 position on my custom template...it looks awesome and covers the full screen. My users are going to love this one.

Looks good, but cannot get it to work! by sonny, November 29, 2007
I do not have the time to go through every single setting on the Admin section for left, right, top, bottom, inset 1,2,3 etc to find the right setting to make this work, it could be a lot better if support was there for it! It looks nice on other sites though, so I guess I'll have to watch theirs instead.

Very nice! by sapromo, December 29, 2006

It's a good all round module to have but had 2 problems.

a) If you set it other than LEFT display it just runs and runs through the whole template and stretches the bar endlessly.
b) If I set it in TOP position on my versatility position it only displays for that section/module position and dissapears.

GOOD ALL ROUNDER but just couple of problems I had maybe there is some help for me ;-)

Funny the snow is an gif image and its easy to change to other image .
I resized an anim of flyeing pig and sim sala bim raining pigs.

just rename the original snow.gif to snow.gif.org uploaf another gif named snow.gif

you can have multiply files just rename them when not in use
snow.gif.pig snow.gif.org etc.
Enjoy

Nice Effect, But Too Heavy On The CPU by Phlosten, December 26, 2006

Nice enough effect, but maxed out my cpu on the way. Not something I wish to subject my website viewers to.

Okay by ianlinux, December 24, 2006

The snow module works in firefox, but on my linux system slows things down and certainly heats up the CPU.

I wonder if things are a little better on MS running IE?

Awww... man doesn't work with 247 clean template by bluecubbies4me, December 24, 2006

It looks good in the demo but unfortunately does not work with the template I am using, which is 247 clean. The snow just gets stuck in a row.

Have you seen this in IE? by cronos916, December 24, 2006
It works and looks awesome in firefox, however it acts really funky in IE6 (firefox extension ietab). The page does kinda a wobbly sorta dance. Kinda cool to watch.

But I cant continue to use if it displays errors in IE.
