The Ajax Sandbox Plugin for CB is a nice product. However, and of interest to some people, it fails xhtml validation among other things because of script/text/css implementation.

The other problem was a pagination issue failing to refresh the module, which at first reporting was swiftly addressed by the author offering to examine code but requiring full ftp and backend admin access. This was unacceptable for our own security reasons and as site owners we asked for assistance in troubleshooting - there the communication from the author ended. Repeated appeals to the author over the next 6 weeks fell on deaf ears, and we have had no communication since. For a commercial product, this often felt unacceptable - in fact, it does look like the author has walked away from this product. No doubt we shall hear otherwise.

On balance, we can only give this a Fair rating based principally on the attitude of the athour.

I had some support from the creator for other components (which was excelent). However I needed none with this little beauty! Easy as pie, just 'install and go'.

Nice user interface, very simple to use (including adding other video providers), al in all I am very pleased :)

A couple of days I bought this plugin. And at first it wasn't working well because of issues with my site configuration (it wasn't the plugin, it was my site).

I asked for support and now I have videos on my profiles!

If you have a community site, you will want this module. Many people out there stream video, and this easy to use cb plugin is just the thing. I cannot say enough, easy to install, fairly priced.

I was looking for something to add to my site to enable bands who'll be signing up to put videos of themselves (ie Music Videos) up. This plugin is easy to install, works like a dream and the addition of two modules to show New Videos that have been put up by users and also random videos is just an added bonus!

The one and only problem I've had is that if people are stupid enough to put the whole link in for a video, ie including etc, (Sadly within a day two people have done this already! lol), then it messes up the layout of their profiles and also the two modules as well, as it shows the videos in a bigger form that they SHOULDN't show in.

This is by no means a fault, just make it as clear as possible to users on your site that you only need the Video ID. Sadly there will always be idiots around who won't read this and still put the whole code in lol

Anyway, fantastic plugin, Mike has been fantastic with his very quick responses to me when I accidentally paid through Paypal Cheque rather than directly and even helped me out in this department too so that I could get the plugin even quicker.

Top plugin, top guy, DEFINITELY worth the money!

Easy "out of the box" install and configuration. I had absolutely no trouble getting it up and running. Members really love the idea of being able to plug their own favorite videos.

The support policy of the developer is to delete posts, in his support forum, he cannot answer. Its the first time i face a situation like this, especialy dealing with a commercial product. Far away from the "open source" spirit and very close to the "take the money and run" behavior.

The plugin works very well for me and Mike answers support questions very fast.

Great Work on this component, I've been looking for this function for a whle now. Now I can get on with my video site.

One thing I didn't like about it was when I installed the modules I had to install one and then configure it and then install the other and then configure, or else my site wouldn't load. I tried it twice and sure enough it had something to do with the modules.

I also had something going on with permissions on a couple of the folders and the upload php files, but I think that problem is with my server that i'm on. It happens to most of my components. :(

I like the way you can add more 3rd party video sites, simple configuration.

Maybe in the future would be nice to use tabs in content module with the Popular and random modules inside.

The best thing that you can add the amount of videos and even choose from 4 different Providers.

This is a great component for most communities. Now it also comes with 2 modules - random and latest. I had problem getting it to work with my SEF Advanced at first but the developer worked day and night to solve this issue. I got the best support that I ever gotten. Excellent work! Love my CB plug in.
