good, but flawed by dmittleman, August 12, 2008
Very nice module in a number of ways. As someone else said, it doesn't display dates of RSS entries.

My prinicipal gripe is that CSS customization is not easy (in fact, I can't get it to work right.) There is minimal CSS access in the tool (tool tips, if you use them), and to change the CSS for RSS displays you need to go back to your main template and add some parameters.

But those parameters are not documented. One user offers some documentation in a blog somewhere - if you can find it - but when I tried those tricks, they didn't work for me.

Easy to use by nickn5, August 3, 2008
This module is great, easy to install and to set up. On the support forum set up by the author I have detailed how to include display of the date, which is missing by default, in a Joomla 1.5 installation.
But even without the modification, it really is the simple answer to displaying an RSS feed without using yet another Javascript, just plain PHP.

Perfect by Gefahrensucher, July 22, 2008

Works like a charm by jparker, April 25, 2008
Easy to install. Easy to edit. Works like advertised. If I can't complain, I ain't happy and I sure am mighty grumpy today!!! Thanks for the good work!!!

The RSS reader I needed by earl45, March 23, 2008
Since I've known this component I have made it a part of my Joomla's core. Easy to use and configure.
It gives to my sites the dynamism that RSS feed contribute.

Great module by 4john, March 11, 2008
If you want to display your feeds in a module (not within page content), this is the one! Looks great, easily styled.

Best but Major Flaw by ricland, January 20, 2008

Best rss module around but its fatal flaw is that it doesn't display dates.

This makes it not so slick.

Worthless, really.

No date by maxa, January 18, 2008

Great module, but it lacks the option to display the date that comes with the feed.

Easy does it by tomt, January 17, 2008
Like many said before: this module is very easy to install and configure. Thanks David!!

Simple Installation, Very configurable by StefanPapp, January 15, 2008
I've installed this excellent extension without having any problems. It has some nice configuration options. For example you may choose the colors of the mouseover tooltip, that appears, when you hover over a feed title. I simply changed three color parameters in the Module Editor and now my tooltips look like these nice yellow stickies.
Suggestion for improvement: Seperate settings for number of items for each of the five possible RSS URLs

Simple - highly configurable - recommended! by seaghan, January 11, 2008
This is really easy to install and configure and does its job perfectly - thank you David!!!!

Splendid app by mi2, November 24, 2007
A jewel. Good docs, built in check that the server is ok etc etc
Easy to use, foolproof one that easily blends in on any site. Highly recommended.

Only drawback is that it doesnt allow any "mixing" of the different feeds.

Good integration with ISO encoding by jeff1er, October 27, 2007
I tried many RSS feeds readers while my Joomla site is encoded in iso-8859-1 and feeds in UTF-8. I had always the same problem: both encoding on the same page fails and some latin characters won't display correctly.
Slick RSS makes the job as it is supposed to do...

Great module by method77, September 19, 2007
Works perfect although I would like to know if there is a way to put the feeds closer to the module name. Feeds seem to be placed to low into the box.
