I purchased myBlog half a year ago, it was very good then but now it really is so much better. Development really is going ahead very quick and support was very good also.
I am still on J1.0.X and it's great they already support J1.5 and I will be able to use it when I make a transition later.
Recommend myBlog + JomComment also. |

I should admit that there are a few glitches but they are not a problem because these guys offer one of the best customer service I've ever seen. Just open a ticket and they get back to you within an hour.
Inserting an image, embedding a video is very easy. You can create tags on the go. What else would you expect from a blog component?
At first you may be disappointed by seeing a few minor problems. But don't forget that it is difficult to have a plug-and-play kind of extensions in Joomla..
I am very satified both with product and with the superb support.

I am using the professional version of MyBlog alongside JRE Caching and Artio JoomSEF. Some interesting problems occurred as a result. I contacted the support guys at Azrul who were great - trustworthy, diligent and professional. Nice blogging tool too. |

This component is great. The installation went easy and after a little time playing around with the configuration, I got it the way I wanted. Adjusting the color scheme to match my site took a little bit of work since you have to change some graphics, but nothing too bad.
To further extend MyBlog, the component JomComment from the same company is a great add-on enhancement. |

I have never seen a software company stand behind their products the way these guys do. I bought both Jomcomment and Myblog pro, and besides being kick-ass components the support behind them is phenomenal. I had two relatively minor issues and they were both cleared up within a couple of hours.
Other commercial developers should take note of how Azrul treats their customers. The old "sorry, we can't duplicate your problem" or "search the forums" responses to tech support issues do not float for people who shell out good money for a product. |

It takes a lot to wow me. But it does happen.
Azrul's My Blog does it.
It has almost everything I want in a blog script.
- I'm not a techie, so I needed it to install easily; it did.
- I wanted it to integrate with my Joomla template; it does. Seamlessly.
- I wanted it to be able to intuitively navigate its interface; I can.
- I wanted tags and a tag cloud; got 'em.
Was it slam dunk easy for me?
No. But it didn't matter. Why? Because the support is unbelievably good. In fact, it's the support that made me say "wow!"
I submitted a ticket because I wasn't absolutely positive I'd installed it right. It looked good, but I needed a little hand-holding. Not to worry; Mark gave me the answer I needed.
As I continued to use it, I had more questions. All the time, Support (Mark) was there, courteous to a fault, expertly knowledgeable, and ready to help. In fact, in one instance, he didn't just tell me how to do a small tweak I needed. With my permission, he went into the back end and did the tweak himself.
A class act all the way around; and my understanding is that they are continuously developing the product; so you can watch for new releases periodically.
This gets great marks on the product itself and extreme praise on the support side.
A great way to run a company.

I cannot write anything technical about this product as I am a newbie in the website world.
What I will say is the people at Azrul are brilliant. I had a problem and they sorted it, I didn;t know how to make a feature work, they sorted it. They did everything they could to ensure the feature was installed on my site working the way I wanted it to.
I'm sure they were fed up with my requests for support but they responded on time every time. They even apologised because it took a few hours to respond - ON A SUNDAY!!!

This is a very good component. Much better than any of the freebies in features and appearance. Installation was very quick and easy. I had a few minor problems at first, but when I contacted support, I received a reply within moments. Mark fixed it immediately. Customer support at Azrul is the best!
The templates in the pro version were easy to modify to go with my site colors. I'm new, but he told me which file to edit, and where. It was simple, even for me. I'd like a few more features in the future, but overall, this is great. |

Implementing MyBlog onto my site was a pleasure! Not only did it install easily, but it added a clean, professional "out of the box" look for our site. It does allow tagging entries with keywords. One (small) drawback is that you have to use the MyBlog entry screen if you want to add keywords...otherwise, you can use Joomla's backend to add content. It works well with sh404SEO. I am very pleased with this extension and look forward to its continued development. |

I have tried some other blog extensions like JoomBlog and MamBlog but this one is better, clear, "rich", nice template.
But the most important thing is also support i can have : fast, professional and nice contact.

I finally decided to buy this component after having tried to implement other Blog solutions in Joomla. I'd like to say that I did not expect such a good level of support.
I had problems to make it work with mxComment and they responded immediatly during the week end. They also answered very fast to the other questions I had.
I am an IT Java Architect in my professional life and I rarely saw that with the different software providers I had to work with. That is why I wanted to set this excellent rating.

I was using Mamblog before, but I had a lot of problems. MyBlog is a very nice extension. Nearly everything is working fine and if not - the support is awesome and really fast.
I am only waiting for UBB Code Support and group blogging. Everything else is wonderful!

I saw a review below that someone made - "It's programmed poorly. " This is completely not true. Out of most of the Joomla extensions out there, this one is probably the easiest to use and most user friendly.
I just recently had an issue that needed to be resolved, and these guys did not stop working until it was resolved as well. So if you have any problems, these guys will have your back. |
