The idea of this module is to give you an additional way of navigating through your contents, based on similarities in content, which You construct. It will show you your content items in many different relationships, effectively "feeling" like semantic multicategories. This mod_ludo_related_items module takes the metadata keywords you (really should have) filled in when you entered or edited content items. These keywords are matched with the keywords of all other items. The result is a structured list of links to articles which match one or more of the keywords of the item being viewed. Optionally, you can also display a list of all keywords of the current item, with a link to the search component. Ludo

I like it a lot. Needs some additional parameters, like setting it to ignore certain keywords. My site is about science so all my articles list science as a keyword. Space is a big part of science.. so a lot of my articles list space as a keyword. Also I would love to be able to display this just above the "comments" When I select bottom as a position it shows under the comments. However, this works much better than the related items bot and module I was using before!!!

This simple module works fine. The good thing is that it can handle a meta 'keyword' existing of more than one word since it is able to use any user-defined symbol to separate the keywords. So it actually works much better than the module that comes with Joomla.

When more than one keyword matches with the actual content item, the related item is schown for every keyword. Especially when you have a large content database it would be nice if there is an option to only show each related item once.

My site has a lot of content and interrelations - over 100 articles on student rights. mod_related_items gives lists of 20 items or more that users have to scan to find what they want. mod_ludo_related_items allows display of just the keywords the items share, and a link to search on a particular keyword, bringing up only articles that share that keyword. So I turned off the links to related items display, and just use the keywords. Simple installation. This is my first impression, the site is not live yet, will update if problems arise, but so far it is great.

i have been using he related_items_xtd. but this module gives you better presentation of your keywords, especially if you have lots of related keywords and items on the contents page.
it works for me and thank you for the module.
