OwnBiblio is a Joomla! component for administration and publication of a scientists (or scientific organization's) list of publications and lectures in a comfortable way. It allows to search for keywords, to look for specific years of publication and to display the results in two different formats (single-line and multi-line).

In this version 1.5 OwnBiblio is finally compatible to Joomla 1.5 (a directory name error due to development under Windows has been fixed now)

Old version 1.4beta still available for download)

* English, German, French, Russian, Ukrainian language translation
included (Attention: beta version of language files)
* Each entry may be linked with two web pages (one for a detailed
description, one for download)
* Import from BibTeX, export to BibTeX
* Export to a CSV Format (Comma separated value)

Complete and usefull by currojim, July 20, 2008
No problems for install, very easy and complete options, very adaptative/compatibility solution for joomla.
Template css is free to configure.....etc..
The option to upload csv files make easy the work!! In the frontpage there are 4 options:

Categories of this Bibliography
Creation of a new entry
Import Entries
Export Entries

Is a great extension man!! Thanks!

I have been waiting a long time for a working bibliographical component for joomla 1.5;

OwnBiblio seems to be the best out there. I have found though a problem while exporting bibliographical references to a BibTex file. I have the following error message :
--------
Bibliography
Export of the selected category as BibTeX...

Warning: require_once(PEAR.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Users/me/Sites/test-site/components/com_ownbiblio/views/exporthandler/BibTex.php on line 26

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'PEAR.php' (include_path='.:') in /Users/me/Sites/test-site/components/com_ownbiblio/views/exporthandler/BibTex.php on line 26

----------

PEAR.php seems to be a joomla file that I found to be in the following place /Users/me/Sites/test-site/libraries/pear/PEAR.php

I tested it in two different joomla instalation and machines and experienced the same problem.

Is there any problem with the path ?

Thanks again for offering this.
