SOBI2 SEO Plugin for ARTIO JoomSEF
This extension for ARTIO JoomSEF enables generation of Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs for the SOBI2 (Sigsiu Online Business Index 2) component. Automatically generated URLs are composed from the categories & businesses names. Each generated URL may be customized and you may specify meta-tags for it. Important: This extension requires ARTIO JoomSEF 1.3.0 (or newer). Use the built-in installer capability to install the extension package.

Doesn't work properly by spike1968, March 15, 2007
Do not use this if you wish to rename the directory from 'SOBI2' to something else e.g 'My Directory'. It won't work. ARTIO JoomSef works fine its just the plugin.
I have rated this 'Very Poor' because this is a commercial plugin and they won't even respond to the support ticket I raised.
They seem to just want your money and are not showing signs of being concerned. I didn't even get an acknowledgment to my support ticket. Steer well clear, unless you have the time to manually customize every link.
I hope ARTIO Support are reading this and will do something to rectify this major glich.

Hi, this is no longer true. The actual version allows you to set any name you need.



As regards the support ticket, if you have submitted it correctly, I do not see a reason why we would not reply it.

I have built a site around the SOBI2 component, and definitely wanted the URLs for the directory entries to be SEF. After searching for a bit I found this one. It does just what it says it will, and the price is a bargain at around US$7.
