It was working for a while but not anymore! Now it only shows the author's links.

I started using this about 5 months ago, it gave backlinks to my sites quickly and got my sites indexed fast. Mind you the backlinks are not permanent (they change every day), but with a backlinkchecker you will see the links you get from the module. The only permanent links are placed on your site to the creator, which they are honest about, so that's fine.
By the way: it will NOT boost your pagerank. I installed it across 7 sites and although they gained a lot of backlinks, none of them gained pagerank
Note: You have little control over the sites that link to your site. I saw some referring sites showing up in my stats, which are far from legal, so be warned!
About a month ago the backlinks started to disappear from all of my sites and the traffic went down. Now there are no longer backlinks to my site from this module, but there are still links showing on my sites of the creator of the module, so it basically is a one way street now. They get all the backlinks I got nothing. I uninstalled the module accross al of my sites and went back to building links the old fashioned way. |

Good extension, but for the problems written by other users on these reviews an excellent improvement could be to choose the keywords that a site owner wants to show, instead of "List of keywords you don't want to show"!

Added this for a short time to demo. Google immediately dropped my page rank for common key phrases b/c the module registers as spam or bot type sites. I was getting 500+ keyword hits per day, and now I am down to 10 or less because my page rank dropped 3 to 4 pages. Searching for my site turns up links on pages that are completely irrelevant to my site content. This is a big 'X' for google determining page rank. I now have to wait who knows how long for the incoming site links to be re-indexed by google bot so it will remove the negative marks against my site. Install at your own risk. |

I installed this component in my site but it did not fit my site's design so I removed it. But, my site has been stuck in their network of links. I get more than 700 external links generated when I check in Google Sitemaps.
Since a majority of these hundreds of external links are unrelated to my site (in terms of content), Googlebot might consider my site as a spam. I came to think that this might be the case because before I installed this module, my site was always in the first two pages of search results in Google using appropriate keywords. Now, my site is nowhere to be found in the results.
To the developer: Please remove my site from the network of links. The site is www.librepost.com |

this is the module that i've been searching for sometime ago, finally i found it. only by clicking and waiting, i got hundred of incoming links because of this module.
a really great idea to who create this.
if u want easy visibility of your site, good SERP, then use this module. |

This is a great idea and now that the module has statistics it will be more useful.
I can't seem to find a forum or contact info for the developer. I don't understand the statistics terminology...
What is a seed? is that the # of sites displaying my link? And if there are over 400 users for this module why does it show only 34 active clients?

Well, it seemed that I had some major problems, the links wouldn't appear. So I contacted the developer and he immediatlly fixed the problem, within a few hours.
A must have !

I am impressed by the inovative solution used here to create this module. Link exchange has been an old age method for generating traffic and PageRank, certainly there a pros and cons to the method and requires an entire acticle on the issue itself.
Without a doubt this module intends to fullfill multiple objectives. the developer is clear about creating PageRank for their own site (fair enough). To be able to create PangRank for your own site is also with a restrictive link exchange system not to be detected as a farmlink is excellent forward thinking.
If you got a new site, ue this in the outset. If you are conscious about the link exchange systems, then use it, try it and keep checking linkbacks to your site using the vast number of tools available. |
