It's impossible to predict what a visitor to your site may want to look up. So why not give him or her the opportunity to search Anything Anywhere? Without any coding. In an extensible list of search engines. Just by highlighting and clicking. In dictionaries, picture databases, encyclopaedias, specialized databases, you name it. Would be ever so nice, no? Well, that is what the Ludo_highlightsearchbot plugin does. Just publish the plugin, add a couple more search engines, and let your visitor highlight away. This plugin will considerably extend the usability of your site! There is also a module version available (look for "mod_ludo_highlight_search"). Have fun, and let me know if you like it or not. super plugin by cafeannalisa, February 25, 2007
Has enormous potential and is working perfectly for me.. super!!. Do make it possible to list links sideways as requested in review 1 and also allow complete deletion of the line and the instruction message below it, for those of us who wish to do this.. for both space and aesthetic reasons.

Owner's reply:
Hi Cafeannalisa, thanks for the positive comments. As for the sideways display: that is coming up real soon. And the instruction line can already be taken away just by leaving it blank in the admin. backend.

realy amazing but..... by yamada, February 22, 2007
i think the author did a good job on this...
its a valuable piece to add to your site...

but a few minor things...

i hoped that when adding/using groups each group would show next to eachother.
but instead. the groups show all above eachother,so using 20 engines...creates a big list that realy costs to much space.
i hope he can change that.

next thing is the target window.
valid or not but using parent, top,or self will drive the visitor/member away...

Owner's reply:
Thanks for your comments, Yamada. Your first suggestion, i.e. putting the list not in one consecutive series but in adjacent "blocks", will be an option in the next release - coming in a matter of a couple of days. Your second remark, regarding "driving away the visitor", is less clear to me. The result will always be a page from a search engine, so I really don't see how I could keep the visitor on the calling page. I could optionally put the result in an iframe, but I don't know if that is what you are after?
