Just what I needed, Fantastic by technoboyuk, June 21, 2008
Really like JoomRadio, does the job, have found it meets my need perfectly.

Couple of issues or improvements

Would like the ability to remove the graphic for the website if you don't want one or be able to put a small link to the website under the station name in the admin area, just like the region.

The next button is not displaying rest of stations, if I have more than 10, they are not coming up, I have to choose 20 from the drop down box. Also when I choose next in the TV section it takes me back to the radio section.

And just to echo what another user would like, better variety of feeds that can be played.

Otherwise an excellent component that just works

Love it! by Mishka3366, April 5, 2008

But the fact that the component only accepts WMP streams is a huge drawback.
An addition of Real Player in the future would make it a really nice extension.

This is a great component, I found this to be so much easier then the way I was trying to do it before. A few things would make this even better.

1. It would be nice to easliy add your own player, there is Radio, WMV, but thats it. I had to go in and remove the radio player and add my own player to handel the file extention I use. So i am limited to only two types of list at once.

2. Adding 1 stream URL at a time is also time consumming, maybe in a future release you could allow this to have one of two options..... 1. Batch load. or 2. Allow you to load X amount at once for the back end.

3. Allow members to enter 1-5 stream URL's a day and have the URL's Checked by ADMIN before they are added to your Channel List.

Thanks for saving me time!!!! ;)

Thanks. Thanks to do this by the community. He is magnificent, excellent. One settles very easy and the size can be d personalize touching few things.

Single I have found small inconveniete that I hope is possible to be solved. If in radio transmitters I put: mms://www.domain.com/D/958/5072/v0001/reflector:41185 it does not work to me. Nevertheless all those that begin by “HTTP” if which they work.
What I make bad?

Another option to consider is that it allowed to place next to the name a small logo and that menus could be made different drop-down or to be able to make different categories like “Pop, Rock, Noticas, Films”.

Congratulations to author/s.

Thanks.
