Like many other users I've bought this extentiton for a client, who would like a site like the demo of the extention.This software is excellent! If you are serious about setting up your own autos/boat/ships stones, etc site, this is the software you should use!
Great potentital,althought it needs some adjustments, and adpat to your needs.
The support is good, but takes a little to reply some posts and e-mails, but you always get some reply from the author
I had to change a lot of the language files to suit my needs, but the process is simple to do, if you can read english and understand the work of the extention.
The pack is very good, not only for the component, but you get some modules and templates, etc..
Joomla, autostand and a little imagination you can make a good site.

This application its a complete set of solutions to merchandise or show cars in a website.
I got the component and some other modules that the developing team offer when you buy this pro version like a module for searches and an scroll for car images that resides into the application, a categories panel to show in the front end for easy access to your visitors, a module for artio sef and some others cool stuffs that will help you a lot to set a website dedicated to show all your cars in the most effective and professional way.

Also you can set what level of user has access granted to upload cars using the front end and each user can set its own cars individually and just administrate its own lot of units, and of course the super administrator can control everything in the backend with all the privileges.

I am not an expert programmer or web designer and I have received a lot of help from the developer with some requests of support.

This component at first sight has some bugs but it's really easy to find the solution for all them in the forum of the developer and also they are not big deal, if your website it's working with English language you don't need much to customize in it, for instance just the currency position it's the bug that you will fix and thats all.

In my case I have choosen the component to run in a Spanish website and did not take long for me customize the component and modules and also expand the translation available in the website of the developer.


I really recommend this component for people who want to show cars and sell them over the Internet, even I will use this component to make reviews about interesting automobiles and trucks in my personal website to show the info to the enthusiastic community of fan cars, this component hast three text boxes with huge space even to tell a complete history of the car showed.

I have been looking for an extention to manage a small car seller for my client. Found this extention that does the job very good.
I've tested the free one, and also others, but for my client no need to make things complicate. It's simple and it works.
It as great functions, usefull modules and the pack includes other extras, for thoose who want the complete pack. I recomended it!Once again as notice by others, should have some tuturial, but after a few clicks it's simple to work with.

Demo is a good demonstration on what this extention can look like. Even the templates available in the pack can be used

I've tryed other components, and even try to adapt some. Waist of time...Autostand does all that, and works perfect to my needs. Great image show, usefull modules, and the pack includes templates simple to edit and change.
Very complete pack, worths the money. Seems they are working in a new version, and for the first look it's even better.
In my case the vehicles where classic cars for an association, but editing the language file works fine to my needs.
Good support,and very professional. Lacks some forum support and explanations

Let me say first that this had everything I needed to put together my client's needs, so I'm already happy!

Okay that said, we all know the first rule of all software is it is NEVER perfect out of the box. What really counts is whether the developers back it up. After installing the component everything worked fine except for one problem with the image gallery. I emailed the developer, Nuno, and within minutes he replied with a fix!

Now, all is working perfectly and after a few minor asthetic modifications it suits the client's needs perfectly.

The Autostand developers back up their product. The new version will ship soon and it seems to have some nice added features. If Autostand Pro has what you need it is at least worth the minimal donation and a little time to give it a spin. And if you get in trouble, the developers have proven to be very helpful.

Love this component, installation was straight forward and everything worked perfectly.

The supplied template is professional looking and easy to use. I've been using and also following the development of this component for a couple of months and feel it will become one of the best around.

Great support from the Author and a decent forum covering most hacks.

I would like to see a paypal facility to allow users to post and pay which I am sure will come.

I bought this component for client who needed something simple, easy to use, with some options. Good suport, in forum or e-mail. Great image effects, very cool and usefull modules. And the best part, the full pack includes simple templates, that we can use, or modify regarding the needs.

Things to do:
- Although it's a simple extention to work with, somekind of manual will be usefull

-Some minor bug correction, but after contact the author some of the bugs get solved, others are beeing solved.

I recomend this component for all the users looking for quick and cheap solution for "vehicle" selling website.

Like said before, worth the donation, and let's be honest, our client will pay the component .... times wright? :))

Like the title, this is an superb component for Car,boat,bicycle, everything dealers.
Fairly easy to change it to your needs, at this time it's not flawless, there are some bugs. But i know there are some good people working on it right now!
