This module solves an old problem many users experience with DocMan. It turns out that either through a bug or exploit, occasionally the DocMan configuration file is deleted. Whatever the cause of the problem, it leave the website owner with a big problem. Their user's can't download files and many times, the website owner doesn't know about the problem unless a user contacts him or he tries to use DocMan. Once the problem is found, then you have to figure out how to repair the broken file. Since the owner doesn't usually have permission to edit, replace, or delete the broken file, many owners reinstall DocMan. This module will monitor your DocMan configuration file and if it becomes corrupt, will repair the file preventing your download section from being broken. This will create a backup file and keep it updated to ensure that if it is ever used that it will current. If there isn't a backup and the original is corrupt, the default installation configuration file will be used. This will fix your broken DocMan system and allow you to reconfigure the settings. If your DocMan Component is currently broken, this will fix it! You will need to redo your configuration but the system will be fixed.
