This plugin allows your users to customize their profile. Its very easy to configure. Just put all page selectors and their styles you want to allow for customizing in a XML file.

Please check your CSS file and use the identifiers from it. The customizetab will show a form depending on the entries of the XML file. If you want to edit a color a colorpicker is shown below the inputbox. You will find additional information in the documentation.

version 1.8 offers new possibilities:
you can set selectors to an elements attribute which will set to the same style. So you can edit only one color and this changes your whole site.

you can show your users an image which helps them to see, what areas are affected by the changes.

Notes: Works with Firefox. IE users dont see changes immediately - this is a known bug and needs to be fixed.

This is the plugin I was looking for a long time....This is the awosome plugin for Community builder...if your focus is to build a social community with your community builder site ..this is a must plugin...It just brought whole CB compoent one step up...So far I didnt find any bug...Highly recomanned to all site owners with community builder installed

Really excellent idea, I was looking for this long time!
I am sure it is difficult to program tool, thank god I am not a programmer, else I would spend a lot of time to help get this plugin move on ;-)

thumbs up for the developpers!

this is a big time step forward into making a joomla-site capable of that what makes myspace so successful.

I atempted this on the demo version of my site. Didn't work so great, but.... This is a beautiful idea. I'm shocked that more people aren't working on this. As said by the person before me- this IS the missing link. This is what CB really needs. I give it a five for initiative (spelling?). You're going where no com. creator has gone before. I look forward to when all the bugs are fixed for the most part and I can download this for my own site. Will definetly keep checking back on this.

This is the missing link between CB and myspace-like websites. For a long time (and it is a very long time indeed, if you've been around the CB community), people have longed for the possibility of allowing users to customize their own profiles. This plugin answers that need. Though doubtlessly not perfect (yet), Michael certainly made alot of dreams come true with this.

I gave it 5 stars not because it's a flawless piece of software (and indeed no software is flawless), but because it does what it says it does, it plays a critical role in a community site, and one look at the source codes tells you a humongous amount of effort was put into it ;)

I was looking forward to this, but I downloaded it 3 times, and each time I got a checksum erroer when trying to install it.

Its very nice to see people vote 1/5 because of a file error instead of telling me about the problem - communication would make things easier. :mad:
