Joomap is a sitemap component for Joomla that shows the normal Menu Structure, Content Categories, Sections and Virtuemart Categories in a hierarchical list. A plugin system and translation support make it easy to expand the range of supported content and localization! The new version also supports the generation of a Google Sitemaps conformant XML list.

This extension by default includes hidden links/advertising. Hidden links/advertising can affect the Search Engine ranking.

Great and easy to use component. Can't wait for new 2.0 version becouse of Google Sitemaps output.

Too bad by tijs, March 11, 2006

It doesn't work for me. First I tried to install it on a French site, but it didn't have a French language file. Not a problem, so it said it was going to use English instead. But I never got to display any kind of sitemap. I assume you publish the component in the main menu? It just gave me a blank page, and on an English language site it gave me the correct title "Sitemap" but no sitemap was displayed. When I wanted to go back in the backend to try to play with the settings I wasn't able to because again I get a blank page.

Oh well.

Joomap is a must for every Joomla site. It allows you to display a site map with no work at all. You can also control which categories/sections/menus to show. Very good.

If you link some content by link in site it wil not be displayed as well as as static content not linked to menu items.

This one really takes the cake. So much control over what is displayed! I downloaded all the sitemap components I could find and am VERY impressed with this one. Great work.
