The extension is just what i was looking for and from other feedback i had no problem pulling my wallet out for this one.
I made a stupid mistake and couldn't get it to run at first ... dthdevelopment not only offered advice but also directly accessed the component to test it and confirm my first thoughts. I should have watched the video tutorial.
Keep in mind that the drop down menu that appears when clicking on 'registration management' does not contain your events. You need to click 'NEW'before your events will apear. |

As somoeone who works in Joomla on a daily basis and who handles multiple components there are two things I appreciate -- components that work as advertised and developers who respond when there are problems. You get both with this one. It does just what it is supposed to do -- take reservations for events and store the records for export later. The ability to set custom fields and capture all kinds of information makes this a killer app, IMHO. And when I had a couple of minor problems, the guys at DTH were very responsive in helping me get them ironed out. Couldn't ask for better customer service. I'd recommend this to anyone. |

I have used several other components and I am glad I found this. It works very good and support is great. You can even create custom form fields to collect additional information. You can also setup member discounts that will automatically apply to users when they are logged in.
Very easy to install and configure to use with authorize.net and PayPal. Thanks again for this excellent component. |

DT Register is an excellent software product that allows you to manage your events very efficiently. The joomla interface is easy to understand and on the DT Register website you find good tutorials.
If you have further questions, you can also directly contact the software developer. My questions have been answered within minutes!

We chose DT Register because our client needed the Authorize.net gateway. But we're sticking with it - installing it on a second client site because of the support. The developers were fantastic at responding to e-mail inquiries - and even fixed and sent us new patched files to solve our particular issues!
If you need Authorize.net or PayPal for registration of events, DT Register is a great option.
We've demoed and used other registration components for Joomla, but for this particular client, DT Register was the perfect fit. |

I was very surprised at the quality and response level of the support provide by the folks at DTH Development.
We ran into a compatibly scenario involving our configuration that prevented the proper use of DT Register for our project. Within a couple days after leaving a post on the support forum and a couple emails we had the DT Register solution installed and running perfectly. The bonus came when we actually got to use the component and it met our needs.
Well worth the money if you need to have a paid events scheduling scenario and would also like a calendar for users to work from.
Hats off to DTH Development and the JEvents folks too, great solution. Thanks Nathan.

All I can say is that it is always a pleasure when youbuy something and it works just as it says. This component is well-worth the money. You do need the JEvents calendar component installed for the whole system to work. The process is 1) input an event into the calendar, 2) you go into DT Register to mark the event as one users can register for and the details. Users register, pay for registration, you get an email, they get an email, you can email all registrants, etc. A lot of thought went into this component. I installed it for a client who has manay community events held at their location and they are very happy with it. I am too. |

I am fairly new to Joomla and was able to get this component installed and working within minutes. The support staff at DTH is very prompt and courteous. They were very forthcoming about the state of new feature development (eg: discount codes, multi-event registrations, etc) and I am looking forward to updates to the feature set.

I was afraid setting up an online registration system for our organization would be very hard, especially because I am new to Joomla. I was very pleasantly surprised in DT Register. It was very easy to install and configure. It offered the flexibility for me to charge 2 different rates (member and non-member)for our events. There is just one little quirk I'd like to fix -- it puts a phrase at the top of the registration form, "Your total cost will be xxx" This doesn't allow for the fact that non-members will be charged a higher fee. However, the company has been extremely prompt in answering my questions & is working on a way to help me fix this little problem. I would recommend it. |

Although this component doesn't work the way I first imagined... bottom line is – IT WORKS. The new version with custom fields is awesome and I highly recommend it. Beside the fact that it is the only event registration system for Joomla that has options for 3 payment gateways, group registrations, support for Pay and Free events and at the right price… Nathan and his team provides EXCELLENT and fast support and because of them I was able to make my launch deadline... they basically saved my butt.
I am hoping the next version has support for captcha images, an Event FULL feature, enhanced group registration process and more admin features but for the price of this component – you can’t go wrong. I would be willing to pay 3 times the price for these extra features as it would be well worth it…

I bought this extension and had a little trouble getting it installed. The support was awesome. They had me up and going in no time. The extension works great! The ability to have people register from the JEvents calendar makes this extension even better!
