Bought it, downloaded it, installed it... Everything worked perfect.. No Problem. Very user friendly, many options and settings. I had a problem with uploading large files (not a player problem, my server problem) and the support team got back to me almost immediately and walked me through step by step on what to do.

A must for any music related community site. I am running Joomla 1.5.6 with Community Builder... With a little help from their support team my users are now able to upload and listen to 100mb files with ease. I researched many players, and was hesitant to buy, but I definitely made the right decision. I would have happily paid more. Thanks Guys!

Okay, for the price ($26.95 AUD, which is only $24.21 US Dollars) I would recommend everybody get it. Not to mention you currently get two licenses with one purchase. Anyways, this will help make the process of adding music much easier for some of my clients' customers, which is good considering not all of them would be too proficient with computers. Thanks for the awesome plugin, and I look forward to whatever you come up with next (perhaps a more user-friendly way to edit the look of their CB Profile page :D )

This plugin was working fine until the last version. Then a new version was released and does not work with joomla 1.0.13 and CB 1.1; yes, I made correctly the upgrade for CB 1.1! And if you look at the forum you will see several peoples with the same issues.
Actually, there is no support for this problem in the forum. I sent the backend access for them but until now (I'm waiting for 3 weeks now) I don't have an answer!
When I buy an extension, I like to have support but this is not the case.

I hat to say this but when if people backed up their 3rd party CB plugins BEFORE upgrading to the latest CB version then there wouldn't be any problems.



Yes there are a number of people that have complained about this and we have put up a tutorial explaining how to go about applying any relevant fixes.

I would like to be able to edit reviews here so this will have to stand for now. This is one very expensive plugin. Marketing on the site is superbly done however (1) there is no demo (2) I couldn't find anything conspicuous that this plugin is actually encoded so beware - this was hidden in the forums. For what amounts to over $30 US you do get a player which seems to work but you're paying for unique rather than total value at this point. Joomla must host all the media files - a huge negative for many who prefer not to have serious bandwidth issues and allow users to use third party services. Didn't see skinning and other items that are upcoming and you'd expect if you're paying for a plugin more than just a nominal amount. On the bright side there is a complete admin side illustration and there has been work done here that seems good. The developer does promise free upgrades and a second license included. So I'll give it 4 stars for effort, take one back for needed disclosures that should be clear, and add another star for what seems to be good promise here of a good component.

the purchase page clearly informs people that there are encoded files in the package. It also provides test scripts to download to ensure that the package will install successfully prior to purchase yet people still purchase without following our recommendations and then log countless support calls. There isn't much more we can do to make the process clearer.

The CB Plugin makes me huge problems. If user A upload a song then a random user get those song as well posted to his profile. It happen to every song/user. Every song show up at least twice in random profiles. I droped the table of one user but it is still in her profile.

Some users can not see the Delete or unpublish Buttons. I guess it is an IE6 Problem cos it work in FF.

Please log these issues with our support people and we'll endeavor to help you out. The random user problem is being caused by conflicts with other plugins and we are trying to identify these. As for the IE problem you are correct in your assumptions and we are looking at other ways to embed the player.

I thought the cost was a little high at first, but I got a google adwords check today and splurged on this plugin.

However, it is not perfect yet. Here is what it needs:
1) Admin interface to let me drop copyright violations
2) Email notification of new uploads
3) Better CSS control (It would be nice to have a div around the whole thing)

I like your suggestions so we are adding them to our feature list. In future it would have been nice to have had these requests posted on our forums. That way we can take immediate action to get things rolling with such excellent suggestions.



As for the div tags we have surrounded the player with a div tag whose id is player and whose css attributes can be configured in the provided css file.

This is a GREAT component, and it works perfectly. Support even helped me out with a very unusual request that I made... and quickly too! This is my new favorite component. Please support this company.

As with everyone else there weren't alot of reviews to go on but I was willing to give it a try as it sounded exactly what I was after. Also they are going to be adding a number of features which are going to make this a suberb plugin. On top of that the support is amazing, I've had every question answered within half a day.

Well, i don't like to spend money..i am in college. But I really needed this for my site, so i did it...with a little problems at first mainly because of my stupidity One of the developers spent about 2 days working what seemed like non-stop on it. He was a huge help and made everything good, and my users love the feature. Deafinatly work while!! Thanks for the great plug-in

Must say that I've been looking for a CB plugin like this for ages and haven't found one until a couple of days ago when I stumbled upon it at joomla.org
installation was a breeze so too was the configuration. I was up and running in 15 mins flat and haven't found any probs so far. Just read on their forums that they are releasing another version shortly with multiple albums/playlist. Cant wait for the upgrade.

I'm usually not the type to purchase components without any reviews or votes but I made an exception here given the clarity of information found
on their site. Having purchased the Media MP3 Player it took a little while (maybe 40 mins) to resolve the issues with the automatic delivery system
but Kon was a great help and worked with me to get things sorted.
As for the plugin itself it installed without any problems and the configuration was a breeze.

Typically, I am very reluctant to even download software that hasn't been reviewed by anyone, but I knew my website's member's would love this.
Total time to make this work was in the neighborhood of 10 minutes, and it does just what it says.

My only current complaint is that only .mp3 files are supported. Hopefully more file types will be added soon!

v1.0.0 only supports .mp3 files but the next major version release will support many more. We have already begun coding these changes for the next major release.
