I want my author users to auto aprove their content, but it seems like it won't work with this JA submit.
It installed perfectly dough...

Nice, but.. by wmena, July 13, 2006

It's working ok.. with exceptions..

First, to the previous reviewer who said "allows authors to edit their submissions after they are published"... this is not a ja_submit issue... it's a joomla issue. I'll get it figured out.

Second.. there seems to be an issue with categories. In the configuration screen, only regular joomla categories should display... not categories for other addons who put data into the categories table. Normal categories have number characters in the sectionid field while misc addon categories use alpha text.

Works OK but seems to mess up permissions by Think, July 10, 2006
This works fine however it allows authors to edit their submissions after they are published which they should not be able to do. It seems to have given "authors" "editor" permission instead. I can't find a way to fix this.

Got it working eventually by brian, June 19, 2006
I got this working eventually after fixing an error, in ja_submit.html.php which resulted in code being outputted as 500pxpx rather than 500px, which broke the template.

Having done that I have found that it does what it says on the tin.

Very Nice by navin, April 27, 2006
I'm not using it for the purpose it was meant. I'm using it so that users can post greetings to their loved ones on my site. And it works great. Some features are required though, like selection of path to store images, publishing date etc.

It is a very nice tool, if it works. If you have problem you can't find support (take a look to the joomlaart site). :(
