Fireboard Latest module
This is a latest posts module for your frontpage. It uses the fireboard builtin, latestposts function, and displayes exactly as seen in the forums frontpage (images, template ++). Simply install the module, publish it in a frontpage module position, don't show title, and you are all set. If you wish to use a different template on the module, simply edit the modules php file, and make it use your template. Enjoy! -MetZ-

Great module by thadley, April 28, 2008
This worked perfectly for me, was easy to install, and is easy to configure in the backend, just as the author has stated. The only question I have is if it can be sized down (widthwise) and if it's possible to not show which category the posts are coming from?

Excellent by da8iwr, December 30, 2007

I have added it here http://www.virtuemartfrooglefeed.com you can see it working perfectly with the just released Fireboard version 1.0.4. I have edited the code in /components/com_fireboard/template/default/plugin/recentposts/recentposts.php file and also some other parts in the forum template. You adjust the way it looks by changing settings in the forum configuration, not the module. I'm very pleased with it :D

But very usefull... :(

Owner's reply:
Have you checked the USE JOOMLA STYLE to no, in the fb configuration? I didn't make any options to choose template, but if you edit the module.php file, you can change what template to use for the module there. It's not that hard ;)
