SE landing Page
When the visitors is referred to your website after conducting a 'keyword search' from a search engine, they are most likely looking for something that matches the 'keyword search'. It is said that the decision to whether to stay on your site or not is made in the first 3 seconds, they just check the page they land on and then close the window if what they are looking for is not there. Why not help them by showing them related posts to their search on your Joomla Site?

This module lets you do that! It works with a long list of search engines!

{Works with all international google search domains}
google.com,
go.google.com,
maps.google.com,
local.google.com,
yahoo.com,
msn.com,
excite.com,
lycos.com,
alltheweb.com,
aol.com,
iwon.com,
ask.com,
ask.co.uk,
cometsystems.com,
hotbot.com,
overture.com,
metacrawler.com,
search.netscape.com,
looksmart.com,
webcrawler.com,
earthlink.net,
viewpoint.com,
mamma.com,

It will display the searched keyword that the visitor arrived with from the search engine, then a message stating 'You came here from www.google.com searching for 'the search term'. These posts might be of interest:
It will then display a list of 5 related posts/articles.

*******The extensions.joomla.org demo for this module will take you to Google Search engine for the keyword 'Socioword'. click the link for 'http://www.socioclick.com' and you will see the results********

This is a FREE module therefore it only shows a max' of 5 related post and does not conduct the full text search.

***ChangeLog***
Non UTF-8 charset encodingss suppport

The Premium version will integrate Google Adsense, meta Description, Full text search and no limitations to the number of related posts produced.

Nice, but by icwebmaster, July 22, 2007
Easy to install and works as stated

Problem: on our site the related links option is not working. The link provide when clicked is thrown to " registered users content message " even though the content is public

Owner's reply:
From what I understand is that the links produced in a normal circumstance for public view are being redirected to the wrong location, interesting, would need to look at it.

Any reason you have not dropped us an email prior to leaving a comment here?

All issues should be reported to contact(at)socioclick(dot)com

thanks

Really great tool!

I'll defenatly be using it as soon as it supports non-english letters. A option so one dont have to get the result in caps would also be great.

I've contacted socioclick through their website about this so hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Owner's reply:
not received an email so please write to contact(at)socioclick(dot)com.

1) Are you saying that the related posts are caps or just the 'keyword' returned from search engine. If related post then this would be bug, so I assume it is the 'keyword' and that option can be made available.

2) Yes, please drop me a email about the non-english characters should be able to update.

This is wonderful! Works as advertised and only comes up when someone arrives via search engine. Relative content is selected too! Nice job!
