This extension allows to include 360 degrees panorama images inside a module. It also provide the ability to specify 5 hotspots with configurable links, so you can link several copies of the module together or to external sites to create a virtual tour. You can also custmize the size of the applet, speed of auto-panning and the display of control toolbar through the module params.

Version 1.0.3 has several new features, like support for partial panoramas and a dynamic compass.

Great support, but needs Java compatibility on the server by srini28, July 27, 2007
I loved the functionality of this component. The standard version seems even faster. All was perfect, except that it did not work on my site. When I dug in a bit further, I realized that it was because this component requires the hosting provider to support Java on their server. My host was a pure php provider and I was not that inclined to drop the extra time and bucks to transfer to a new host.

However, I should applaud the developer. He tried his best to resolve the issue for me. EXCELLENT, prompt support.

All in all, if your host supports Java applet viewer scripts running insider compressed jar files, this is an awesome addition.

Really smooth! by ffff0000, June 13, 2007

I like it because it has a great smooth movement and a nice perfective FX in the sides, not like other panoramic plugins.

I think it would be more useful if it would be a mambot instead of a module...and if it stops at the edges of panoramic images that aren't full 360º.

Anyway. The best panoramic plugin I have tried! Good work!

Owner's reply:
Thanks for the feedback. New version is available with support for partial panoramas and several new features. It is important to know what the community wants, because I'm developing this module for my 3D game level design site, so it has basics features, but PTViewer is extremely extensible. Unfortunately, I can 't include all features in the module, but at least can include the most wanted features. Nevertheless, users willing to edit the code can easily expand or customize the functions of this module to suit their needs. There is a link to PTViewer documentation in my download section.
