AuctionAds Module 1.0
***Exclusive $5 Bonus for signup to AuctionADs via Socioclick***

AuctionADs is a contextual ad solution that displays eBay auctions. It is remarkable that it offers 100% of the affiliate revenue to its user base at the highest tier. This to date currently stands at $35 per signup and 75% of revenue generated by eBay from the total sale of a item.

What does this mean?
If an ad displayed on your site is clicked on and the visitor signs up to eBay to make a purchase because they do not have an account and makes a purchase, auctionADs will pay you $35.
If a user already has an eBay account (or even a new sign-up) eBay will give 75% of the revenue it generates from the final sale of the item.

Below each ad unit the words 'AuctionADs' appear, if a visitor signs up using this link to AuctionADs you will receive 2% of the revenue generated by the affilates ad units displayed for 30 days.

The module integrates with AuctionADs and allows the display to be modified in the backend. You can change the background colour, border colour, text colour, link colour, etc.

Within AuctionADs you can assign a CampaignID that provides statistics for those ads displayed.
The contextual ads are displayed based on the keywords and not content, therefore you can be as specific as you want.

The system also works using 'commas ,' and 'semicolons ;'. Therefore the comma defines the ads to be displayed in a single unit i.e., Joomla, mambo. The semicolon displays differents ads on a page refresh. Therefore joomla, mambo;seo will see Joomla+Mambo ads on the first view and seo ads on the second view.

There is the option to open the ads in a new window, therefore once the visitor has finished with eBay they can return back to your site.

***Disclosure***
Socioclick has been working directly with Jeremy Schoemaker aka 'Jeremy Shoemoney' the founder of auctionADs and can offer a special bonus for those who sign up via our affilate link. For every sign up you will receive $5 into your auction ads account that takes affect immediately on sign-up.

works but not how it should (non relevant ads) by peetree21, June 11, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:
i installed this module and signed up at auctionads with no problems.

however, the images for the ads are never displayed (only get the default polaroid icons) and the ads that are shown are totally not relevant even though i have added search words. so i dont think it really works that well at all.

when u click on the ad, yes it takes u to ebay and uses the search words to bring up the ebay category page, but there is never the ad that was originally shown on your site for the user to follow up on. i think the ad that is shown is just a random (if it at all exists) and just takes u to the ebay page.

this doesnt really work how i think it is meant to and to me it may not be the joomla module, but rather the actual auction ads code (as pasting the code generated on that site did the same thing)

Owner's reply:
This is an issue totally with auctionads. The best bet is to visit the blog over at auctionads or digital point forum were a lot of discussions take place.
