Worked perfectly for me! by wredefine, April 3, 2008

I needed something simple and this module worked great for me. The "fruit" directory is a bit hokey, but I have had no problems using this with IE 6 & 7, Firefox and Safari.

doesn't work right in IE7 by sjoe, February 12, 2008

Like the other user on this page, I also see that this module doesn't work right in IE7. At first it appears, then when I go to another page then return to it, it's gone. My co-worker says if he clears his cache, it returns, but that doesn't help me or our client. Unless your audience members are strictly Mac users, don't use this until there's a fix.

ALMOST exactly what I am looking for.
Needed:
- specify the directory
- properly resize the image in the viewer
- description tags even if done with a .txt file

very good module but if you use mootols in your template or any javascript it will mess up everything, I assume it will happen too if you have joomlajax enabled.

Nice module, simple in use.
In IE6 en FF the module works great, but in IE7 it goes bad.
First time page is loaded, the module works great, but after a refresh of the page the module stays empty.
When this is solved, the module is great !!

This is a great mod - with a few modifications by katwomanofsteele, July 11, 2007

I had a Javascript dropdown menu (LXMenu) that was supposed to "hide" the flash slideshow when active. Unfortunately, it was as if the two were competing so I had to modify the mod_blueyezrotator.php file by removing all of the javascript and adding the wmode=opaque property to the embed tag. With this, and additional directories with path changes in the playlist.php, it's a pretty handy mod!

Itīs easy, flexible and it validate. A very good work.
If someone wants to change the images folder only has to modify the route in three lines in the file playlist.php.
Thank You

This module creates a very nice rotating slideshow applying a variety of effects at random. It would have got excellent, except for the fact that the full size image pop-up opens in a new window rather than a nice effect and for some strange reason you have to put your image files in images/stories/fruit! With those 2 changes it would get an excellent.

I don't see any bug in it, very nice type of Transition effect, haven't see such a good gallery :)
However I would fix it for advertisement banners, links and some description to them, think about it
Great work!
