Mod_HTML allows you to Add Any HTML or JavaScript code to your Mambo or Joomla Website CMS via a module.
Why use mod_html?
1) mod_html allows you to add any html or javascript to your modules withought having to change any settings in your Mambo, Joomla CMS.
2) You can copy the module in the admin panel, for quick clones of an advertisement or banner ad
3) mod_html allows you to add google adsense code directly to your site, just copy and paste from your google adsense account page.
Use mod_php if you need PHP code directly in modules.

This is the best little module I have ever used. I have built over 100 sites and I have used this module on almost every one.
It's great for all the little things you want to add-on. I just copy it over and over again on a site and place little html goodies anywhere I want.
I have neglected to review this module and that's my bad. You should download this and test it out. After you do you'll wonder what you ever did without it.
Very good job programmers. Thank you...

Using this with Joomla 1.5 in Legacy Mode by lwheelr, April 22, 2008

Love this module, used it with all my Joomla 1.0 sites. Tried something else that said it was compatible with Joomla 1.5, but could not get the thing to display correctly. Tried Mod_HTML again, and it works fine with my Joomla 1.5 site in legacy mode.
Just an incredibly useful little module that comes in handy for so many things!

I am a beginner with joomla and this module really made things simple.
A bit of installation note would have been nice. So here it is:
Download and install the mod.
Go to Modules > Site Modules
Locate and click on HTML MODULE
Thats it..
All you have to do now is copy and paste your google code into the box. And also some templates does not support the TITLE, in that case simply set it to 'no'.
That is all we're done.
My compliments to the writers of the module.
Sweet job fellas.

I was using another module for AdSense but it just didn't give me the relevant ads I needed for my game-based site. Plus, Google didn't recognize the ad code as being used, so I didn't get any benefits from the ad.
After doing several searches and trying other modules, this one worked out the best (and gave me the most relevant ads available!).
I would recommend this module to anyone looking to implement Google AdSense into their Joomla site!

I know very little about Joomla! and even less about javascript, but I wanted a newsletter signup on my website using an AWeber form which uses javascript. I'd been having real problems until I found this module. It's really simple to install and use, and it's working perfectly. Thank you from a complete newbie!

This extension was SO easy to install and use. You just download it, click on Installers/Modules in your admin panel, browse to the where you saved it and load it, and then go to Modules/Site Modules (it shows up there automatically), then you click on it and add your Adsense code, css commands or whatever you want and then you assign the mod to a location (right, left, whatever) and that's it!!!! It works perfectly, nothing crazy happens and it doesn't break anything else. I love it!

For some things you don't need this mod by AfewTips.com, December 22, 2007

The only thing that doesn't allow javascript is the editor.
When you need Javascript, turn off the wysiwig editor and enter the java script. Then turn it back on when your done saving.
I wanted to put JS so I could embed a video in an article. I just put the JS code in without the wysiwyg editor and it worked fine.

Needed this module to drop some JAVA script into my swebsite to implement Comodo SSL's TRUST LOGO image on all my pages. Could not make it work without this module. Installed it as easy as pie and hey presto, javascript works as expected and the logo appears on all pages.
Thanks for writing this, where's your donate button? I want to give you some cash.

Great module, but does not work with Google adsense search by vvmm1122, October 24, 2007

Great module, very easy to setup with AdSense. But does not work with Google adsearch. Adds a lot of spaces. I know author keeps telling that it does not do that, but it does for me. Code ads to every line of original script and result is ugly:
But it works great with all other stuff. Big thanks to the author!

I was looking for a module that I downloaded here sometime ago to insert Facebook Badges in joomla but the module was deleted. I remebered that I had a copy at my home but I was far away working so I tried this HTML Module and it worked easier than the other one. Its a really nice and simple module capable of doing very nice things. Thanks to the developers. I hope more people learn about it because its of great help.

Line Breaks by gustywinds, July 5, 2007

I wanted to rate this as EXCELLENT, however I've had issues with the module adding line breaks to code, specifically to Google Adsense for Search code, as well as any form. Some of the reviews here indicate a class suffix, however the module I downloaded doesn't have that as an option. It does Adsense perfectly, however it's not behaving properly with ANY html/js as described.
