Mod_HTML allows you to Add Any HTML or JavaScript code to your Mambo or Joomla Website CMS via a module.
Why use mod_html?
1) mod_html allows you to add any html or javascript to your modules withought having to change any settings in your Mambo, Joomla CMS.
2) You can copy the module in the admin panel, for quick clones of an advertisement or banner ad
3) mod_html allows you to add google adsense code directly to your site, just copy and paste from your google adsense account page.
Use mod_php if you need PHP code directly in modules.

This mod was a great start to what I needed.
Issue:
The break tags that get automatically added to your code when you type text into the textarea and press 'enter' were not being removed in your php code. I replaced lines 11-17 with this and it removed the break tags that Joomla added:
$html = str_ireplace("", "", $html); Owner's reply: mod_html already has this functionality built in. By default it will remove all line breaks from HTML, but you can specify via the module parameters to remove line breaks only from CSS or JS or a combination of those.

Simple for installation and usage, great in capabilities! I had some problems with previous version (one script didn't work) but Gabe sent me new beta version which works in very short notice. Keep up the good work

Newbie here with joomla. This is probably one of the easiest things I had to do was set up google adsense. Try this out. I think you will be pleased with it.

I suggest you remove the ( Google Adsense Module ) from the name cause it maybe misleading . Its not specific for Adsense but for any other HTML codes :)

An excellent module, does exactly as it say it does. Adds a lot of versatility to Joomla for people who are familiar with HTML but may not know a scripting language. Great for banner ads and affiliate links etc.
Good work Fiji Web Design!

| The best option for Amazon Assoc links! by Templecloud, September 25, 2006 |

The simplicity and efficiency of this module is remarkable. No effort or fathoming out how to use it required - you just paste your code in and it works!
I've been using the mosAmazon mambot to add Amazon Assoc links, but that only works if you turn the WYSIWYG editor off, and if you forget and open an item with JCE by mistake all your links have to be redone. But this module works with any editor and a fraction of the frustration. The only drawback is that you can only use it in module positions - not on content pages. However that is a minor issue.
Many thanks for creating such a helpful tool.
Every site should have it installed.

Nice module yes, but why isn't there a suffix class box? Today all joomla modules seem to have one ...

This is an incredibly handy module for anyone's site, particularly if you are trying to insert Google's Adsense or some other similar Javascript or HTML code and want it appropriately placed.
So incredibly simple and tiny (it's about 2k), this Godsend of a module works straight out of the box, leaving developers and website builders alike able to deal with the real issues at hand.
Highly recommended.

| The Best Banner Ads for Joomla! by gr8sale, June 29, 2006 |

This is the best for use with adsense! Blows the other adsense extensions out of the water. What I would really like to see is a banner manager that works like the oscommerce system, but since this is the only ad banner extension that allows you to just drop the banner code in.

I am a Joomla newbie and was struggling to insert a javascript src into a module. This mod worked first time. Wish I had found it earlier.
