GREAT!!! but alias field is missing by yudhiarsana, April 12, 2008
another great extension for joomla. i agree that this thing should've been added to the joomla core.

but i think it would be better if you add new field to Mass Content extension. The "alias" field. Since many joomla users still use the original SEF from joomla core which utilies the alias for the SEF url.

still, this extension is a must have!

Essential For Every Install by FidelGonzales, April 5, 2008
This component is essential for virtually every install of Joomla and is included in every site I produce, as it not only creates content, categories and sections, but it also applies them to menus, and for categories and sections, it does this allowing to create the menu items as a blog category or a list. Not only does it save a lot of time, especially for the development and maintenance of large sites, but it also assist in logical content structure. Thanks!

A great guy Johann by akteq, March 28, 2008
This is the best gift that I've been granted since I start using Joomla.

Not only that the component has made a huge improvement to the Joomla publishing system, but also, is one of the greatest extension, that I have seen and tried already.

I wrote a post to the developer's website that I would just beg, that at least before he leaves the development for
the J!1.0 version, to give a chance to those of us who are not willing to upgrade to J!1.5 or higher for now, to have the features of the mass content 1.1 such as the Wysiwyg editor, the possibility to paste HTML code and add meta information, creation and publications date...

What was not my surprise to see that johann executed an upgrade within 48 hours, and sent a kindly mail back to me as following:

... Your wish has been granted :) I have just updated the component for
Joomla 1.0.X with similar features as the version for Joomla 1.5,
except
for the parameters.
I hope you will like it!

I just can say, THANK YOU Johann to bring Joomla users to the next level.

Has anyone has got such a feedback and generosity in this great and large Joomla Family.

I recommend to make a collective vote for baticore.

Thanks again Johann,

Took

Simple Is Its Strength by chris@castus, March 17, 2008
Joomla has been my CMS of choice for some time now and when working on a clients site, speed is of the essence so long as quality is not compromised. The fact that this component is so simple is what makes it so special and so efficient.

I managed to create over 1,500 pages on a clients site in a matter of days rather than weeks.

For future development I would advise looking at creating something for 3rd party extensions such as VirtuMart. High volume store owners would most definitely be prepared to put their hand in their pocket for something like this if it could edit all variables such as price, stock volume etc.

Well done on a fantastic component, the fact that someone has already stated it should be included within the core Joomla set up is a true reflection of what you have achieved.

Many thanks
Chris

Great Tool by ladyMKBA, March 5, 2008
For anyone looking to add a lot content on the fly - especially when building new sites - an excellent resource that does what it says.

why no wysiwyg editor ? by baijianpeng, February 24, 2008
This is a good component. But when I try to paste some text copied from other webpages, the result will show up without line break.

I think the author can add a new feature: use wysiwyg editor in this component, then it can keep those line breaks.

Thank you very much.

Brilliant! One of the "must-have" Extensions by rexkramer, January 24, 2008
Brilliant! One of the "must-have" Extensions.
Should be a core feature of Joomla!

Absolutely a timesaver at this status, but I hope it is getting extended with more options in the future.

Wishlist:

- Joomla 1.5 support ;-)
- Metatags-Keyword insertion (maybe automatic copy from title/alias)
- meta-description
- image/mosimage placeholder (maybe the asterisk.jpg or a custom selection)

Thank you so much!!!

Awesome but by Nikijacob, January 23, 2008
I wish it could add Intro and Main sections, and even Overide the creation date. I am working on the ARCHIVE section of our site and the dates are all old.

Also, when copying and pasteing text into you must use HTML tags, this I didnt know until I saw my articles look all jumbled.

After I inserted for all the paragraphs as I pasted the text, then it looks great. But I do love the thought of the whole coponent.. I ahve a ton more archives.. wish a newer version would be coming out soon with at least the change creation date.

Mass Content A Great Tool by redx, December 19, 2007
Hi to all,

Mass content is a great extension because is allows me to save many articles in one go and review and publish the information at a later stage. If i am short on time I copy, paste and save. Saves me heaps of time.

Great Work.

regards

Redx

I install this on every new site I start by jmuehleisen, December 19, 2007
Johann has done every Joomla administrator in creating this component. It is very simple to use, and is a huge click saver when developing a new Joomla site. This makes quick work of deleting the sample content, quickly creating my sections and categories, and then making "placeholder" articles and menu items for me (or others) to fill in later.

You type the article title and the intro text of the article, or it can fill in all of the intro texts with the same thing (I use "This great article is coming soon!").

It will also make a menu link to the articles (or category blogs or tables) for you if you wish.

It just works, and works very well for me, and has become part of my basic Joomla install.

Nice idea by discodog, December 11, 2007
Mass content will save much time! :D
Just need to work with jce editor

Great addition by shadowuk, December 8, 2007
This should be part of the core joomla installation - it makes it so much easier to set up the areas/pages you need for a new site. Like other reviewers I also feel that the ability to add to the 2nd (read more) section would make this component excellent but even as it is it's a "must have".

Great component by muaz, December 7, 2007
This component is really simple and effective.

It would also be nice to add the main text field and allow publishers to choose text formating options (maybe integrate one of the WYSIWYG editors).

Thanks

Fantastic! by TrevorDurity, December 2, 2007
An absolutely brilliant component. I wasn't relishing creating 10 sections with over 60 categories manually using the backoffice so I was going to write a script until I stumbled across this addon.
The component made the process a breeze. I used it with 1.0.13 stable.
Many thanks!!!!
