MamBot to display Google Ads in content pages. To use this mambot, simply type {mosgoogle} anywhere in your content and a Google Ad will be displayed. You can also use {mosgoogle left}, {mosgoogle} and {mosgoogle center} if you want the ad to align differently from the set parameters. Add a channel id after the align param or only channel id to select individual channels for your ads. Using the channel id will allow you to style differently based on channels. You can choose to display Ads or AdLinks, Collapse empty ads or replace them with an alternate ad or color.

Great plugin.
Would be even better if there was an updated version with the possibility to create rounded borders.

Not Bad But Cant Have Multiple Different Ads by staceywest, January 12, 2008

Only one problem with this
It only lets you have 1 Style Throughout your site
Meaning once installed, you go to config and select the type of adsense right, styles, size etc.. then it displays that instance where you put the mgoogle code or if you have it set to auto
Now if you have 5 content pages
and you want a Large rectange to display on content item l and on 2 and then Adlinks on contem item 3 and at the bottom of content item 3 have a regular horizontal Ad and then a skyscraper on the last 2 ( 4, 5 ) you cant you can only have whatever is setup in the module for all of them... doesnt give you the abilty to have multiple instances that are different for different pages or different styles on the same content page like if you wanted 3 google adsense ads to display on the same page
1. Adlinks at the top
2. Regular Recntangel in your content left
3. Horontal 468 say at the bottom

even though add your client id was a tad tricky since everytime I went into the mambot to check to see if it worked it went back to the 'original' id #....very strange.
I'll be messing around with this for a while - all in all good plugin.

Plugin works great right out of the box!
One suggestion. Make it possible to differenciate between links or ads within the bot not the admin.
Ex: {mosgoogle link} {mosgoogle ad}
Otherwise great job!

I've always wanted a way to integrate my ads in content pages,
I finally found a solution!
Just one thing, I can't see my ads on the frontpage :(
Anyone got a answer?
But overall it's a great plugin! Owner's reply: Remember to turn 'Hide Ads in intro' off if you want to display them on your frontpage.

Needed: a way to disable ads for static pages by gandalf924, March 5, 2007

I have been using this plugin for our website. I needed a way to publish Google Adsense ads within content items without having to input mambot codes for each content item page. My only problem is that I can't seem to disable the mambot for static pages where I don't want the ads to show. The mambot only allows you to exclude sections, not individual pages.

Just what I needed. But this plugin would be even better if we could set ads to appear in the middle, between the intro and the main text, that would just be perfect!
Thanks for this plugin.

Shows in blocked sections and won't shut of if unpublished by maxa, January 4, 2007
|
I just tried out the AdSense Plugin and it seamed like a great thing until I found out that it displays the adverts also in several content items in sections where they should not show. Then I unpublished the mambot, since this is a live site. BUT THE ADVERTS STILL SHOW EVEN IF THE MAMBOT IS UNPUBLISHED!!! Not until I set Use AutoAds = No, the adverts finally dissapeared from the site.
Can it be that it is not compatible with OpenSEF?
If it would work as said, it would be a very useful plugin. Owner's reply: I'm investigating this at the moment and will endeavour to find an adequate solution.

Handy Plugin by vujsa, December 6, 2006

Just installed this Mambot and it does what it says it will do. Haven't seen any bugs so far. I'm using v2.2 and it has many more features than I need so I think nearly anyone would find it useful for their application. Too bad I can't clone the bot and use different formats in different content items.
This is a great way to quickly insert ads into your content with little effort.

Works easy enough and does the job. What more could you ask?
Only item I found buggy was that when I went to full article view, all but the first ad dropped from view.
Still works good enough for me to use on multiple sites.
