VMConnector WebServices for VirtueMart
This VirtueMart web services extension / plugin module (ver. 1.0.44) enables you to connect your existing applications, databases, and accounting systems directly to your VirtueMart eShop through the Internet (URLs:http/https, NOT ODBC).

NEW: VMConnector v.1.1.0 Joomla 1.5.x native extension for Virtuemart 1.1 coming by the end of May 2008.

WHY? If you want to automate or facilitate your catalog management from your existing products databases, or also get all your orders information (customers, products most sold, ...) for analysis or invoices generation...

As a sample integration, you can now export your VirtueMart invoices to QUICKBOOKS with our free VB.NET Sample (v.1.1.6). The VMConnector WebServices plug-in extends VirtueMart reach as an APWI (Application Programming Web Interface) so that you can program, query, automate and avoid repetitive tasks like CSV import. VMConnector uses the Joomla built-in installer capability to install the extension module package.
AVAILABLE NOW: New VMConnector version (1.0.44) & VB.NET Sample version (1.1.6). Main addition is the possibility to retrieve the whole VirtueMart catalog categories and products through the web, update it locally, and do a MASS upload directly into VM!!!
Plus, export VM customers and invoices to QuickBooks!

NO Change, NO Joomla or Virtuemart Hack to insure upward compatibility with Joomla and Virtuemart future releases.

Great way to manage a store by adouglas, May 4, 2008
I was able to pull 600+ products together from three different data sources (including Quickbooks) and categorize them in Virtuemart. The product can do even more than I expected, and made uploading a large catalog so much easier. Support is great with response time and helped me get everything set up and underway.

I use this program to download and upload all my product and to make a new category, now i make one program to connect it to my store program...

If there is'nt VMConnector I can't make it...

We used VMConnector webservices module to extend our Cyrus.ch ASP offer and it works perfectly for us.

We are now able to offer one more level of integration to our Cyrus.ch ASP software suite, where our Cyrus catalog pilots directly through the Web/Internet (with the Web Services) the VirtueMart Catalog.

All VirtueMart sales orders information are automatically integrated in our Cyrus Invoicing module and more.
Great IDT SL support.
