Wow - when my client said they wanted Barclays ePDQ as the only payment method on their Joomla site, my heart sunk. It stayed sunken until I met the guys behind this Payment Component for VirtueMart.

The component isn't cheap (if you're used to "free" open source code), but its purchase represents hundreds of man-hours coding the interface between VM and ePDQ, so you don't have to! More often than not you can pass the cost on to your client, and they still end up with a rock-solid ecommerce site for very little total cost.

The support for this component is second-to-none - by phone (if you're cheeky like me!) or email and support ticket, they will help you get everything working, including but not limited to actually logging into your Joomla install and amending settings, or rewriting entire php pages for your individual scenario.

The next time a client tells you they don't want PayPal for their site, be confident in recommending VirtueMart, ePDQ and this component!
