Very simple and handy by nextdoor, October 1, 2007
Had to make a 'home page' with all the links in it and only the 'All Weblink in Columns' offered most of what I wanted. Thanks.

How do you upgrade this? Installation over the previous version failed in Joomla 1.12.

Awesome by gissite, September 26, 2007
This guy makes extremely useful extensions!!!

The native weblinks component that comes with joomla is very lacking. This component really makes the native com viable for use.

Only glitch, can't seem to get the show as new to work, and when cutting off titles, it seems to cut off at different character lengths, no matter what you set at backend.

Thanks though - awesome

Great Idea, Almost There by hyphenated, September 25, 2007
Everything works. It's a great idea. One more step in my opinion and it'll be excellent. You need to be able to select which categories are displayed.

In the new version this is possible

great start for a great component by thingwarbler, August 16, 2007

We've needed a variation on the weblinks com for some time; this is a good try, with a little work 2.0 could be amazing.

Couple of minor nuisances that could be dealt with pretty easily:

1) provide a css for the component so it can be stand-alone across templates, and
2) provide an option to not show empty categories

Just fulfilled your whises ;-)

Simply Nice Component by SiXX, August 7, 2007

This is an example of simple component that no one thinks of. It helps making the weblinks looks more organize.

Another decent weblink addition by gravesend46, August 6, 2007

Nice component and works well, only thing I would like to be able to do is select which weblink categories to show as I can only seem to set it up so that it shows all categories, when on some of my pages I only want to show one or two of them.

Otherwise, recommended!

Owner's reply:
Well... that offcourse will take a little more programming. But I think it is a good idea.

Maybe I'll programme it in a later version. For now the unpublished categories will not show. The rest offcourse does show.

Thanks you your review.
