Video Games Trailers Component is a simple player that allows you to display thousands of videos on your site provided by one of the major game trailers portal. This component is very light and does not affect your traffic that is great for sites with limited bandwidth.

xml not found by colle_b, June 30, 2008

This it apears when I try to install the component, I installed on the same joomla 1.0.13 on another website and it works just fine, but not I want to install again on another site and it says that xml not found.

Does not work on secure server by adunanza, November 4, 2007

This module uses the "file_get_contents" function to open a file on another domain. As this should be disabled on a secure server in the php.ini this module does not work when allow_url_fopen=off. This should be replaced with cURL in one off the Joomla CORE files.

Just right what I wanted for our game portal...
But we had to re-write php file to get it work and be more friendly to our server...

Well I'm not sure what the other guy's meant but this works just great! I installed it added a menu link and POW! I had over 1000 gaming trailers installed on my site, all listed in categories. As I am setting up a new gaming community this just fit in perfectly. It fit in nicely with my template which was a big surprise as I have a transparent template with static background pics. Hats off and thanks for this one!!!

Well it's kinda cool but if i would have made it ... it's more fun not to include so many links to 1000 site's it would just be nice to view it on your site... or at least a backend config panel to allow you to change thouse settings... if u wanna show the buy link, the download etc
