I downloaded this hoping to look for a quick solution to a simple concept...
Instead, not only did I find out that the code provided exactly the same functionality that the "Link category table" provides that comes with joomla, but the author failed to list the xml file as a filename in the moduleDetails.xml...
So naturally, Joomla threw when I tried to uninstall it and I had to mod the code, phpAdmin into my database and kill some rows, and FTP in and delete some files manually just to get rid of this pointless module install....
I only have one question... Why was this module created?

Well, I initially thought of not responding to such reviews. But I feel this review may mislead few others in the community.As the description of the module says, it doesnt promise for any magic with weblinks. It does what is described and there are several installations, anyone can find over the web. This reviewer is not even writing the basics whether his site is Joomla 1.5 or 1.0, rather he 's interested in specifying some high funda terms like phpAdmin,killing rows,FTP in .. etc (as if it is portrayed). The catch is here,
this module is a very simple, module to list down the categories you have in your weblinks setup. This is developed to work with Joomla 1.0. However, it could work with Joomla 1.5 + Legacy ON.
