VERSION BETA 1.7.1 JUST RELEASED

There are some more fixes in this version, the most important is that we commented the pdf.php so now you can understand the code and from there you can set how the system interprets the site fonts, paragraph and special characters.

VERSION BETA 1.6

Updates in the new version Beta 1.6:
1- For including special characters (requested by Caterine) lookin the pdf.php file at line 1080 of the code, you will find a description there.

2- Trashed items no longer appear in the JoomEBook manager.

3- Worn section title in some pages, this is suppose to be fixed but our beta testers says that sometimes still happen, please check and report to the forum.

4- Bold and Italics stiles are keep in the pdf.

5- Long titles are not cut anymore.

6- Tables prefix other than Jos_ should be working fine now. Please check and report.

7- We include a line just before the page number with the website url linked to the site that generate the ebook.

8- For huge ebooks now the index extends as many pages as the index needs.

9- Now the intro text of the section and category is included in the ebook.

10- We change the page layout a little, with this we solve the problem of the category over the section name, and also we leave more space for designing a better background, and a more readable type spacing.

Very good component ! by Catherine, October 17, 2007
This component is still young, but his developer, Pablo, reacts very fast to the comments of the users... so the main problems that appeared in the creation of the pdf files have been corrected in a few days.

This component will be very useful for many people who would like to save or offer to their visitors a nice paper version of their website, or part of it.
Little bugs remain... but just test it, you will keep it !
Thanks for the job !

Joomla is now one step closer to perfection... by apropos, October 17, 2007
This component is young but very promising. It is refreshing to see a unique (and FREE) component like this, that will provide many users with many different ideas for how to use it. (It seems that all you see any more are different variations of AJAX modules.)
The built-in PDF capability of Joomla is very limited, and won't allow you to select more than one article to include in the eBook. I hope the developer continues pushing this forward -- a big thank you to the developer(s) of Joom EBook!
