Add a dynamic news bar to your web site or blog. Headlines fade in and out, giving your users direct access to timely and relevant news articles. Fill the empty column in your web page with news snippets and links to timely articles from Google News search. This module is designed to give you the flexibility of placing Google AJAX news bar on your joomla/mambo websites. *Get your site key *enter your search terms *select your news bar orientation (Horizontal/Vertical) and your are all set.

Installation on 1.5RC4 and limitations by iamplatinum, January 5, 2008
This module requires legacy support on a 1.5 installation.

The procedure for obtaining the AJAX Search API Key has been changed. To get the key, go to: http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/signup.html

Otherwise the extension works as advertised.

It appears that Google has a limitation of only running the script once on your site. I wanted to run two different search scripts on a page on two different keywords; but it only runs one of the searches. The second one appears as
"...loading"

Thanks iamplatinum for the review.
