JoomlaFCK2 editor is really the best editor for Joomla: it's superfast, works out of the box, you can define paths for files, images etc, and in the latest version there is an image browser with preview function!! You can also make links to content with the content selector (like in JCE), with all these new functions, JoomlaFCK2 is really better than all the other editors for Joomla. Thanks for this great piece of software!!! |

FINALLY, an editor that doesn't add or remove line breaks! I LOVE this editor already, within five minutes of downloading. An image browser that actually works and can browse the server! And a really cool content link button. I'm in heaven! The templates facility looks interesting too. This editor is going to all my sites, TODAY!
The only glitch I've had in my short evaluation so far is that when set to 100% width it wasn't, so it was cutting off the toolbars, but there's a simple CSS fix for that on the developer's site.

I am new to joomla and webdesign. I have tried a few free editors and none of them were as easy to load and work as this little beauty. I am far from experienced but the only issue I have is trying to customise the toolbar, its a bit scary changing the codes but this is only for the fear of messing it up, an experienced person would have no problems. Maybe in the future an option to load unlimited templates. apart from that I am very happy with it.

Very nice plugin. Easy setup. Like it says, no worry about editing connector.php, upload config.php, etc. Plug-in does it for you. Updating all my sites with this fine plug-in. |

For a website project for an unexperienced artist I tested many editors and this one really combines all my needs:
- image manager and upload (also flash file upload, managing and placement will be very nice for other projects)
- internal linking
- customisable buttons
But compared to the other Joomlafck and other editors there is another advantage: it displays colored and formatted text properly, also when editing colored text. Also a problem where pressing enter skipped a line was fixed with this editor.
Wishes:
- image preview
- image delete from server (lockable to certain (sub)directory)

Simply the best one : efficient, secure, quick, compatible
Finally a WYSIWYG editor that make you win time!
Perhaps just an only one setting in some case but i think it will soon fixed.

Works well with all the image file directories in Joomla and fixes some of the image handling problems with the FCKeditor 2.34
now if the image uploader had an image preview and allowed you to select which folder to upload to! HEAVEN! |
