Shows on frontend the unpublished items queued to be published. Each item is linked to its edit form. A specific section can be discarded from display. It is suggested to set this module to be shown only to 'Special' usergroup. [Based upon the 2003 mod_unpubnews by paolox]

Much Needed! by starlight, June 30, 2008
This is SO useful as there's otherwise no way whatsoever to easily find or sort unpublished items in the back end without having to sift through hundreds of content items looking for the little icon which denotes "unpublished". With this module, you can now see at a glance which items are unpublished.

I agree it would be nice to be able to choose permission levels though although it's not too important to us.

It would also be nice if the page which the link in the module leads to would lead to the section and category it's in, with all the modules on the page, instead of to a page with nothing but the content item in it.

Otherwise, it's excellent, many thanks!

Works just as intended, and eases the submission flow on an article submission site. The only downside is that the module is also visible to Authors, should be just Editors and above.
